Before it was just a joke character that the fandom made up and mark sometimes indulged in. *I say technically because as you’ve seen from the four choices, darkiplier has always been a thing, but not to this degree. It was more mark being scary.
Originally Mark said about this Dark was like the opposite of him, that he was the worst of everything and he only wanted to manipulate you. But during Who Killed Markiplier and Damien, Mark changed his opinion. He actually kinda likes Dark now and Actor Mark is the opposite of him. All this to say, I appreciate that you like Dark lmao.
I remember thinking that the "choose your own adventure" stuff was pretty cool back when I first saw a date with markiplier, but I never expected Mark to make bigger and more ambitious projects like it again, it makes me insanely excided what he's going to do next also you're getting so close to 1,000 subs! that Damien livestream would make a pretty good 1,000 subs special.
Fun coincidence (I think Mark said it wasn't intentional in the break down): because Warfstache reveals that you're actually Chica all along, it makes sense that shooting the wrong Mark leads to Darkiplier giving you chocolate ice cream, as chocolate is toxic to dogs, while shooting Dark leads to Mark giving you vanilla ice cream instead.
Also at 33:17 you said how "didnt actor Mark die". Yes he did in WKM, but he then posessed Damiens body. We know this because in WKM, Damien says in the final chapter "and now that son of a bitch is walking around in MY body!" I'm not sure if what I'm about to say is entirely canon so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but the running theory is that in this Meta ending its actually Actor Mark in Damiens body. Also a neat detail that I like is how Actor says "5 more years left of parole" and wouldn't you know it 5 years later when ISWM Part 1 came out, in the Actor Mark route he says "1 more month of parole". I love little things like that.
36:55 Remember, there's a point in ISWM where you can choose to "attack" or "don't attack" Wug after he abducts you and he is piloting (driving) the ship (van) like the chef. Also, the tie in choices of "Romance" or "Horror," which kick off ISWM:2. Space also had the Chef say "who's going to pay for this when you're sitting with Oldiplier. In Space, Wilford ponders whether or not you'll find out if you're Chica in Part 2, which refers to you discovering that you're Chica here.
I think that Actor Mark is still alive after the events of Who Killed Markiplier, he took over Damien’s body in Who Killed Markiplier and that’s why Celine and Damien need to go into your body eventually becoming the embodiment of Darkiplier.
If you ever need any questions answered, let me know. I know way too much about the lore because I watch all of Mark's streams explaining all of it too. Damien answers a lot but also can be very confusing. A date with Mark was made before Who Killed Markiplier, but the timeline is set after Damien and Wilford MOTHERLOVING Warfstache.

The only confirmed ones to be in the same timeline of events are Who Killed, Wilford, and Damien. These three are here to lay the foundation for the rest of his sketches that he’s done, as it leaves us with Actor Mark in Damien’s body, the Colonel going insane and becoming Warfstash, and Damien and Selene taking over your dead and broken body, becoming Darkiplier, with Damien being the primary one out of the two in control. A rough rundown of Who Killed is that Selene, who is also Damien’s sister, divorced Actor Mark and married the Colonel. This drove Actor Mark mad and he tried to kill himself, only to find that for whatever reason, people did not die in that house. He invites the old gang back together, gets them all drunk, and plays Russian roulette. Colonel shoots Actor, and while Actor plans on taking over the Colonel to get revenge, he ends up taking over Damien, and the rest of Who Killed plays out. Abe, the detective from Who Killed, goes after Wilford right after the events of Who Killed, believing that he has spent years tracking him, but in truth for him it’s instantly afterwards. Wilford shows Abe that this world doesn’t make logical sense and that he’s accepted that, which is why Wilford can be in different places at the same time and seemingly teleport. This is over all a VERY simplified explanation to it all, and it is important to note that Mark has said several times, even during his stream where he broke down Space, that he purposefully puts in references and clues to mess with people. Currently, the best explanations out there are from the streams Mark himself has done over the years as he has been very open on explaining the story during his explanation streams.

Actor Mark did die. But the house revived him. He killed himself multiple times to learn about the house. Then he tricked The Colonel to shoot him at the party. But the house revived him again, except this time Actor Mark stole Damien's body. (I don't know how Damien died exactly but yeah) And that's why Dark here said that he's been "replaced" cause he was, technically. Actor Mark is alive, he just has Damien's body. I'm sure the people already explained the whole Who Killed Markiplier? storyline to you already. If this video was before Who Killed Markiplier? Dark wouldn't be here. So, it's after.

Hey there! Honestly, it feels good but also normal? I’m not sure how to describe it. A couple years ago I would have been ecstatic to hear we made it this far but because it’s been such slow but steady growth each step has sort of prepared me for the next making it feel more natural. I’m thankful as I feel those who go viral don’t have time to adjust but I have had time to learn and adapt. I’m so thankful for all the support and honestly am just surprised each time we reach a new milestone. Like woah, wait, people still care?! Haha.
