This game, unlike DoW, are region locked, so good luck trying to find people to play with unless youre from a region where this game still have people playing. Its one of the main reason why DoW2 and Soulstorm still have a crap ton of people still playing eventho its a really old outdated game, at a glance it looked dead af but when you hop on a lobby finder, you can find a match consistently within 2-3 minutes but the match itself will have a high delay ping(ms). But its fine because its a pretty casual game anyway, meanwhile Space Hulk decided to region lock this game for some god knows why SMH this game was already dying but that decision by the devs literally sealed it's death.
I never understood this game, we play as Terminators, but Joe using his autogun can pen, and kill us with relative ease, I can understand the terminids being able to cut you down with their claws, but not some dude with a dinky autogun.
@maltheri9833 yeaaaaah nah, it's nigh impenetrable to most small arms, even bolters struggle and they're literally small rockets. and even if the stubgun can find a way inside the armor, good luck killing the dude inside. Also a bunch of cultists on a spacehulk would probably struggle to find any ammunition capable of penetrating Terminator armor.
First Space Hulk I really liked since Amiga. Not sure why it didn't sell well. Even now, after Space Marine's 2 release I'm going to give it another playthrough.

This game could have/would be so much betted with just a little tweeking of controls, enemy spawning, enemy toughness, A.I. compitency, and a few other things.
It was a mega jank game, but I enjoyed it for the most part. What I didn't enjoy was the muzzle flare being burned on to my retinas every time I fired one round if I wasn't ADS
Considering what weapons they are using, that would happen to a normal human. It's noted numerously in many books. The cain novels in particular. Plasma and melta guns will mess up your eyes in daylight, let alone the dark.

Watching them slug it out in the maintenance tunnels reminds me of the Starcraft 1 cutscene where they're scuttling the science vessel. Really makes me wish we got a Starcraft game like this.
@@Survival-Battles-2020 Thank you. I usually take the cooldown reductuon on the middle skill, the shield, it brings it on par with the retribution skill. So you can use them together. When the biggest ennemy appear, you pop shield/retribution, then get close to the ennemy. His attack on you will make him die faster. You punch him too. Power fist are stronger than your fire. They die really quick.
That head bob is utterly horrific. Is there an option to reduce/turn that off? I don't think I could physically handle playing that lol. I'd get motion sick.
Because you rush off, by the time your team mates walk by the nest you just cleared they all respawn on em lol. I miss this game though, makes me want to re-install it. I remember it being freaking hard as hell though, even on normal difficulty.
I really love that game... i wished there were more weapon and more option to customize the character. And the lag/crash in multiplayer all the time is annoying

The game was beautiful and very lore accurate but both very boring as lets be honest, space marines ate usually boring and it was AWFULLY balanced. Like the chaplain literally was just a better in every way Tactical.
Darktide is the just flatly better for me, and you dont even play as a space marine in that game. I like the visuals but something about this game just didnt capture being a space marine to me.
i loved the premise and atmosphere of this game but the gameplay and mechanics either didn’t make sense or were just bad… i hope another dev takes a crack at this in the future and we get something more polished and satisfying.

This game was....strange....but it had the spirit! Looked amazing.
Except for all of the actual Tyranid animations. Those were utterly terrible.
The character models were/are so beautiful. As Deadpool says I’m touching myself tonight.

They canonically should be able to move faster actually. Just like Doom or Devil May Cry, the gameplay is nerfed and isn’t lore accurate

Just need acid resistance, the suicide nids that always nuke you are acid damage, not plasma damage.

The relics just add more XP, so you may start new missions and if you collect more relics you get more XP.
