hello, i have a Macbook Pro 2012 and the battery is not detected at all.. i tried to jump it with some current and it's not waking up... is it the cells that are bad or it could be a problem in the board? thanks for the respond
I used to do this a lot on non Apple laptops. People just shut the lids instead of shutting them down and then leave them for a while. They then find the battery does not charge.
Thank you for another interesting video, Scott. Had to laugh when the capacitor fell off ! Did you pull out the microscope and give that charge board a good look over? I think two bad solder connections would justify a complete inspection.
Lol I have seen even worse on genuine batteries. If you think that original apple parts hold any additional quality you're dead wrong. Apple is simply not a quality brand.
@@TheDefpom I think it's more a reflection of your thick accent, rapid speech, and poor microphone quality than his listening. I'm having trouble understanding what you're saying too.

Too bad you did not show the labels on the cells. I would like to take a closer look.
Can never find a good MacBook Pro battery it’s super annoying
hi friend, i have one question, do you solder bench power supply to 4, 8, and 12 v? and with all take 5,5V?

yep i had a close look at the entire board, the rest seemed ok.
can you wake up the electronics of the macbook air 13 (2013-2017) battery? the battery is stuck after the Mac comes in contact with water
3:50 poor solder roll :)
High quality replacement batteries LOL. Makes you wonder wouldn’t want one of these in the house dubious safety.

You are very lucky that the chip did not lock out or set a flag as a bad battery
Lol my original 2012 macbook pro 15 did that, even after recharging every cell, it still wouldn't let voltage past the regulator
5:05 the virtues of the combination of China and leadfree solder eh :)
Cap just falls off..ya gotta laugh aint ya !
I have trouble understanding your speech
Sorry, you might need to listen faster on my channel.
