I hope you understand how necessary this video is for our Minecraft community! Please continue doing this magnificent work, thank you! hugs from Brazil!
I've been on and off watching this dude for a year now and I must say, he is one of the mc youtubers that I love to watch. The videos are so well done and keep improving, providing tutorials for us and design tips just like this video. Thank you so much.
For the farmland, you can hide the water by first planting a tree, then once grown, dig up the dirt block underneath it and place water there. You can also put down various farming decor, like the wheelbarrow (gate > composter > grindstone).
Pollinated bees drop particles that actually go through the ground, so you can place some in alcoves above tunnels to give the sense of dirt/dust falling from the ceiling.
Mate, I've checked out most of your videos by now and they are all simply amazing. Never before I have seen farms that are also aesthetic. You are one hell of a creator. How about a railway station and railways? Can't find any of those that are good and I'm pretty sure you'll do a bloody great job of that!
thank you....this was very useful. I do most of these things but it was nice to see the different options in the different biomes as sometimes you get "stuck" doing one thing and it's hard to see beyond it. You are an amazing builder and I appreciate you sharing your insight with the community.
Something has been missing from my world, and it is this "living world" feel. The pathways, the natural decor, all of it just makes everything feel more blended. Definitely going to try some of these pallets out. Thank you!
You are an awesome creator! Thank you for this great tutorial!!! And for all of the work that you put in to this one. I have watched a few videos on paths and stuff like that, but I have never felt like I might actually be able to do it! Now I feel like I have a chance. 😂
This was wonderful, Great insight as to making the game last longer vs getting bored and new mapping. Wonderfully paced as well! Looking forward to part 2
This video is a huge help, been working on my first long term hardcore world and I do have a lot of builds scattered far apart, which are mostly the farms (but always disguised, I hate industrial districts and blank farms, it ruins the look of the world) and some structure upgrades but I want to build a kingdom with a trading hall for each villager profession around a central castle too. So this playlist is a genuine lifesafer.
Thank you for this video Nuvola. The basic path design is essentially the same as what BlueNerd presented in his pathway video a couple years ago. I think you manage to take that information and take it up another level. I especially liked how you included paths for a wide variety of biomes. With regards to pathways on water I think you could make a third installment here with bridges, smaller and large, roofed or not, with different materials and look. Bridge over a small river doesn't need to be roofed or that secure, while the opposite would be very true for a bridge extending over a lava river. A fourth installment could be pathways within a medieval city as there's a lot there with small alleys, town squares, market places and much more. In general I could see this becoming a series where you take the viewer through the steps on how to create villages, towns and cities. Where does the noble live in relation to the common folk? Where would the castle go, etc. How to design all those various buildings and castles. I think this approach with showing the general steps rather than block by block tutorials is the way to go. I don't want to learn, e.g., how to make a single city gate, I want to learn how to make a wide variety of city gates. Hope this comment is useful, thank you so much for the video!
Thanks for the feedback! Bluenerd was a huge inspiration for me the last couple of years, together with Waxfraud. I am going to think about your suggestions, because I also think that this presenting style suits better than the block by block builds. Those won't disappear, but it gives me an option to vary my content more in the future. Thanks again and have a great day!
I never really had problems with creating nice paths, but your video still was very helpful. It gave me some very cool ideas for my next paths. :D Great "tutorial" overall. Nicely explained, much information, but not overwhelming.
You build such gorgeous things in minecraft, I love all your videos and builds Your creativity is commendable I am going to try making a beautiful pathways in my world too using your advices, thanks
Those are some nice pathways buddy. Pathways in the nether are typically nether tunnels, but a path leading from a magical portal to a wither farm, a blaze farm, etc... that would be awesome to see. Heck, you could even make a froglight farm aesthetic enough to warrant adding to this nice pathway. :)

Love your videos and I will definately add some of your ideas into my world. Would be great if you come up with some designs for a market, a harbor or a tavern to add besides houses and farms and make the village feel more complete.
I appreciate this kind of content so much, its like a hidden gem, now i can finally flex my building skills to my friend hahahaah(they will have no idea how I'd get so good at the game because they dont watch TH-cam videos especially on English, yes im the only one in the group who understands English quite well😅😅), anyway thankyou sm❤❤
Hi Nuvola, big fan of your work. Your tutorials have helped me with the struggles of messy looking farms and paths and I thank you. But one thing my world seems to be missing that I can’t figure out or find any other tutorials on is a way to store enchanted books in a library type build with the use of chiseled book shelves and hoppers. Considering your work hopefully you could have some fun with this idea💡
I really like your videos especially how the buildings integrate into the environment without looking out of place, just great. Could you maybe make a shulker farm for version 1.20.2+?
Hey Nuvola, great aesthetic video l. Definitely using this as a reference. I'm on small islands, started with one island and built 4 more. I island hop got 2 bridges and temporary grass blocks connecting the other islands. It's so far to the 4th island I put in train tracks, they even go underwater and come back up before you suffocate. I did some underwater decorations but they are okay. So if you make a future video could you please sir cover islands and underwater trails. Thanks Nuvola you have a wonderful day!
@@nuvolamc I think oak and spruce with slabs, trapdoors, leaves and vines. You can boat under it, that way your not trapped on one side. Your lava farm is in the 4th island and your windmill is on island next to my house. Sooner or later will send you some pics.
Can I add some suggestions for lighting? I used jack-o-lanterns doted around my buildings and paths. You can put some shroomlights or froglights in the trees and put a light source, i use froglights, in the ground and cover them with moss carpets. Just a suggestion 😊
Hello, I love your videos and from time to time I use your designs to inspire me to make my own farms adapted to my snow village. Lately I've been working on a rabbit crusher farm with sticky pistons, but I'd like to see your ideas for a different rabbit farm. Or maybe an underground tropical fish farm in a lush cave?
In my world I built the House, storage, some farms so that a sorte of square created in the middle. I don't know ho to paviment it because i want it to look like the centre of the village
7:48 I can't glide through the pathway like you did in the video with those cobblestone slabs, i play on MCPE, there's no W key, when i walk up the hill with the cobblestone slabs it just jumped normally like it would if theres no slabs there, what seems to be the problem?
Great advice and explanation, you are not just showing beatiful paths to copy, you are really giving us the pathing-tool here, with the knowledge we need to make the paths fit in our world and maybe even come up with our own creations and palettes. This is really helpful ❤ thanks a lot
For the water? Remember that a water source can irrigate up to 4 blocks in each direction. So a square of 9 by 9 blocks with the water source in the centre. For the grass? It's random. In my case; if there was grass there to begin with, I left it. I tilled all the blocks without grass.
My problem is I make everything nice and there is plenty of light but somehow a creeper spawns next to my house. I thought they weren’t supposed to spawn in where it’s lit up? It’s like Minecraft changed something and want to keep you on your toes constantly. I don’t want to play in a peaceful world.

I agree 100%
I think a lot of builders (myself included) neglect the subtlety of mixing the shades of green in trees but it really does make such a difference!
For the farmland, you can hide the water by first planting a tree, then once grown, dig up the dirt block underneath it and place water there.
You can also put down various farming decor, like the wheelbarrow (gate > composter > grindstone).
Also cool!

Very nice and useful tips and a little hint from me:
08:00 you can place a light unter on of a slab, so you have a indirect lighting source.
