Lots of great advice in this one! I also need to work on my convenience spending. Overpriced coffees are my biggest weakness and the worst part is I got my grandma addicted too lol. Good luck for December 🎉
Cheers though to coffee time with Grandma! The world keeps thinking of more and more conveniences making it harder to resist. Everywhere we look there is something to make our lives easier - at a cost. Thanks for watching and commenting, I'm glad you found the advice worthwhile. Happy December!
We did a no spend year 2024 and are paying off debt. Our no spend was actually just sticking to our budget. BUT it went great! I’m working on cutting a few more corners in the budget, but the strict budgeting will continue for the next 3 years. Should have every thing paid by then.
Wow congratulations!! Sticking to the budget is really not very easy, especially for a whole year. Paying off debt is so satisfying, I'm cheering you on! Three years flies by and your effort will so be worth it! What areas are hardest for you? Food is mine currently!
@ garden supplies! I have a huge garden and I love looking ( and getting) new things. Like this week I spent $50 on seeds. I had the money set aside, but looking at new varieties to grow is hard to resist!
Thanks for taking the time to let me know! No Buy clicks for me too. For me it emphasizes the saying no to stuff/accumulation vs the No Spend emphasizes parting with the money...Thanks for watching and commenting.
I hang measuring cups within it . When those are in the dishwasher I take out the little hooks because I think it just looks better without the hooks on camera. Someday maybe I'll get really good with overlays and my text will fit right within the frame - editing goals! Or maybe just make sure the measuring cups are washed before filming...🤣
I got laid off at june, ever since then. I implemented a detailed budgeting strategy, tracking every expense and setting clear spending limits across all categories. In just six months, I saved over $60,000, giving me a strong sense of financial security and the ability to invest in my future. This approach has transformed the way I manage money, and I now feel more confident than ever about achieving my long-term goals.
The strategy was all thanks to Lorrie Greta Hillard, a brilliant financial advisor. She helped me create a personalized budgeting plan, track my expenses, and prioritize savings effectively. Her expertise made all the difference in reaching my financial goals!
Sorry to hear you were laid off, sounds like you have certainly rebounded well. Congratulations! Cheers to precise and committed detailed conscious spending plan/budgeting and to investing in your future!
I early retired 14 months ago at almost 58 and am living frugally. Love my life!
Congratulations! I love to hear of all the success stories. Cheers to frugal living and thanks for watching and commenting!

Most places will sell you a bottle of the coffee syrup you like. Then you can make them at home!
@@frithar Oh I actually didn't know that, the varieties at the grocery store are so slim! Good to know, thanks for the tip!

@@niki9638 I'm you with there! I love a cozy winter day with a warm mug of coffee and a pile of seed catalogs...
Thanks Julie. I'll be doing a no spend January. 🛍️
Oh you're so welcome! Good luck on your no spend January! Have you done one before, any tips?
I love the No Buy. I have heard of no spend but no buy clicks in my brain better

Why do you have a empty frame on your wall?

Oh yes and Boxing Day is the busiest shopping day of the year so cheers to you staying out of the stores, too many temptations!
YES! When c8v9d hit, my bank account grew like crazy. I looked back and it was because the stores were all closed.

Thanks for the tips! I was curious, so I did a little research and looked up the name.
