Yep $799.99 and I put it on my TSC card and got a notice that I have 24 months to pay. Their deal was anything over $799.00. I won't let it go that long, but it was a nice bonus.
Nice review, just bought one at Tractor Supply, Black Friday sale. Now i know what to look for when operating it and you're right this is the only review on the 20 ton i could find and of course after I bought it.
I bought one yesterday on the Black Friday Sale after watching your video. I am looking forward to putting it to work! Excellent video! Thanks for posting it!
It took some work to make you video and post it. Many thanks for taking your time to make this video and it helps me a lot to make a decision and the little machine works nice. Again many thanks for your video.
Got mine yesterday at tsc 855 out the door, split half a truck load of narly white oak, bogged twice on pieces where it forked, it does need a cradle, other than that I love it, great informational video. I split 2 pieces we couldn’t split with a maul, she went right through it.
My son and I, he is a big strong fellow, we hit a piece of hickory probably 20 times each with a heavy wood maul and it didn’t even show any signs of splitting, this huskee with right through it, it hesitated just a little then boom right through it. I ordered a cradle off of amazon for 63 bucks I think it will help. Great review.
Thank you! I wish mine had been on sale, sounds like I could have saved a little money. Either way I think it is going to be a good enough splitter for someone not wanting to break the bank.
I am thinking about buying one and you are right there weren’t many comments about this, but it looks like a very good machine for the money. I’ve got an old one that has nothing but problems with the engine. It’s not that I mean it’s real old it’s not a new one, so I’m looking to buy a new one and I think I might buy this.
I hope if you end up getting one it suites your needs. I dropped a bunch of hedge trees this past couple weeks and spent some time this past weekend splitting it up, super happy with how it performs.
Good to the point video! I think you sold me on it, tractor supply has this unit right now on sale for $999.99 and you can’t come close to that price . Most units are starting around $1,299.99 on sale. It looked like it wasn’t straining at all. I’m like you I’m just needing something for my own firewood supply so I believe it’s a great fit!
I agree with his comment above. I bought the County Line Log catcher part number # 1291697. It bolted right up on the holes already in the beam and it was a great upgrade.@@treestooges
I bought the same one this year, only complaint i have is inside of the travel rails, mine is gorging the rails pretty good. Im not sure as to why this is happening, ive never had one with a travel rail. Any thoughts on this or is it normal?
The engine is a Rato engine, same as Predator from Harbor Freight and I herd Dr uses them, a Honda clone, it calls for the same oil as a Honda, bought one Wednesday and have done a cord and a half of narly white oak and hickory 20- 24” thick and 18-22” long, no problems at all.
Sorry I missed your comment! I hope if you ended up getting one it all worked out for you. I just used mine this past weekend to split up a bunch of hedge, still very pleased with it.
Does it sound funny to you? I just got one and started it and it whines. My other gas splitter doesn't whine at all. Did you have to add hydraulic fluid? My tsc store added some fluid but didnt fill it up.
Best thing to do now is remove the two dipsticks and cut the arm of flush and fill tell oil runs out It will save from being run low and damaging the engine but will not shut down the engine
Good review, been searching for one on this splitter, and yours is the first. They're on sale at my local TSC for 799, going to get mine tomorrow.
Thank you for the view and comment. After running it another 4 hours I am thoroughly pleased with it. Hope you enjoy your new splitter!
@treestooges just left TSC with my new splitter about 5 minutes ago! 5 days of black friday sale had it at $855 out the door. Thanks for your review!
You're welcome and congrats on the purchase. You will have to let me know what you think after you get to use it.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy your new splitter.

Thank you for the view and comment. I was also pretty impressed with how easily it went through some of the tougher pieces of wood.

Good review, thank you! Think I’ll go with one since they’re on sale at our TSC.

Go ahead and call tractor supply and ask for them to honor the sale price since you just bought it

It has been a really good unit, the only time it has strained was with the last load of hedge...we had some pretty big rounds 20" plus.
The County Line log catcher will bolt right on, I just put one on mine today, makes a world of difference, wood wont fall anymore when split
I appreciate that, will be looking that up for sure!

Thanks man. I just bought one.

We are a couple cords in and so far we are super happy with it. I really like the splitter head, I think it makes the difference.
Приветствую. Какая максимальная длинна поленьев для этого дровокола?
How many gallons of hydro fluid does it hold?
Just bought same one today appreciate the video and input

Keep your blade razor sharp.
Does it sound funny to you? I just got one and started it and it whines. My other gas splitter doesn't whine at all. Did you have to add hydraulic fluid? My tsc store added some fluid but didnt fill it up.
You can check the fluid level in the tank. I didn't have to add any fluids to mine and I don't think it had any whine sound to it.
How is it holding up? Any issues
It is holding up wonderfully, haven't had any issues with it at all.
Best thing to do now is remove the two dipsticks and cut the arm of flush and fill tell oil runs out
It will save from being run low and damaging the engine but will not shut down the engine
Thank you for the advice, I will probably leave the dipsticks the way they came from the factory but that isn't a bad idea.
Let it warm up for 15/20 minutes, I see why the engine failed on the other one
Thank you
15 to 20 minutes?? that seem excessive. Maybe 5 minutes at most.
Definitely over paid ! You could have got same for $700 of Amazon!
