We had reports of people seeing a big black cat out on the Hopi reservation. No photos on any hard evidence. They have described it with having a larger front half like a pitbull.
Rare but present in S arizona S new mexico and along the rio grande in Tx . Much more common south of the border where hunting pressure on them and their diet is much less .
I wish he wouldn’t have disclosed which mountains he was spotted. I know they travel a wide range and is probably already gone. I would’ve held on to that myself and what a great feeling knowing I have that proof!
believe it or not, a wild animal does not have a brick or wooden home with a mailbox and sits there for 35 years in the same spot like humans. Wild animals actually, prepare for this, they actually travel pretty far and when they walk through another state or country (yes, it is possible for an animal to walk) they are visiting as they are just moving on, in most cases looking for a another one to breed. There is no law that states a wild animal may not visit a state/country if that state/country has previously been visited by an animal of the same species. Hope this made you more intelligent.
Some farmer already skinned them You know what's even worse he hired someone to do it AND HAD THE BALLS TO SAY HE WONt GIVE OUT NAMES and it's a Mexican rancher saying it's his right to defend
8 or 9 years ago a jaguar was killed 2 miles north of my place between Coolidge and Florence . This is 3 one I know of in 54 years . These big cats kill cattle this happens . Only a matter of time till kids are carried off . I’ve had a mountain lion on the roof of my home more than once . A couple of times I’ve watched as mountain lion climbed off my roof ,on to my pickup roof ,then the bed then ground . These are fast movers !
being aware of cats in the woods here has been a real thing for a long time... ive doubled back on my tracks while hunting to find a cat started stalking me about 50 yards away from my truck and followed me for almost 2 miles... I had no clue, it was even smart enough to go step for step in my foot prints in the snow as to not make crunching noises when moving about...
Don’t see why it would, Mexico alone has a population of 4,000 jaguars and these cats are have an intact distribution from there down to Argentina. Migrants illegal or otherwise aren’t going to be deterred by jaguars that generally avoid people.
Glad to see jaguars regaining their numbers and returning back up north
What a beautiful story and great man behind the cameras. Cochise is a gorgeous example of a Jaguar starting over in a new country ❤😊
The strongest bite force of ALL CATS yes you better watch out "be safe out there"
I won't be camping there.
Even they’re coming over the border! Beautiful animal-thanks for setting up the cameras, man!
I love this guy! I see his photos on Facebook.

Please do not give out the location.. there are plenty of poachers in this state that will go after it
Damn those bastards.
I want to know about all the "strange " photos he has...I'm sure he has a good handful that have no explanation!

Too cool.
Yikes. LOVE jaguars but they're so scary badass. They even swim with ease to hunt...
What a beautiful Jaguar.

That’s a wonderful story ❤🙂🙂🙂
Now if only the Sasquatch hunters could use the same kind of cameras. Non blurry images would go far to prove their theories.
Newsflash to the reporter: an ocelot is not a "mini jaguar", any more than a chihuahua is a "mini wolf". Fool.

I believe in that area there is only one continuous corridor which allows animals to travel freely between the us and Mexico.
I really hope they leave these animals alone.
White people don’t leave any one alone
One word. WOW.
I seen a black on black cat roaming the hills. I named it Leaf Erickson
In the past Jaguars were inhabitants of Az all the way up north.
There have been numerous jaguars spotted but they are stories with no film
I wonder if was someone's pet that was abandoned.
Awesome
So epic
You should never have reported it now somebody will come to hunt it!!!
So hat's the 8th known Jaguar to "visit"? What do they mean "visit"? Are they on vacation? On a hunting trip? Inquiring minds want to know....

Even then the Jaguars know the border is wide open
White people are the invaders
Hes goin get deported soon smh

@@trippymlgjunkrat5749what’re you talking about…?
Who’s getting deported?
Exotic pets are dumped off all the time
I know where he’s at, and I hope he’s armed and watches his back. More dangerous things than Jaguars out there.
Sombra, El Jefe and Cochise
The Chihuahua overpopulation problem is probably not going to be an issue much longer.

After the jaguars, tigers will come! 😱
tigers (invasive or otherwise) do not live in North or South America. They physically cannot, they're separated by an ocean on either side
@@Tellysayhiunless they escape from a zoo, that’s the only way 😂
Poor jaguar it has his days way he has to cross the in to the us they are going to kill him because his skin to make a jacket for some one here
Americans scared of there shadows nowadays.

Maybe this will scare the migrants crossing the AZ border.

Arm the border with jaguars and bears
What’s the wall situation? Can they pass through?
