Did you ever take on a really WILD allotment plot and make it fruitful and beautiful? Which ONE thing do you wish you knew beforehand? 😊🌸

My garden would make a very poor allotment, with all the shading from large trees, but I already knew that!

It’s can be tough working with shady areas for many vegetables, but you may find that leafy greens like chard, lettuce, kale and spinach still grow happily. Fruit such as blueberries thrive in the woodland under-storey and are quite shade tolerant and will grow well in large pots. And of course you could even branch out and try cultivating your own mushrooms! 🌸
