Stephanie, you have a BEAUTIFUL voice! Thank you for the lovely serenade! And also for the history that you always share about these amazing places you travel to! There is a tremendous amount of walking out there, but totally worth it! The Kilt fabric Philip chose is beautiful ! We look forward to seeing the finished work! Thank you for sharing that experience with us♥ Raven💕
Greetings from Lake Arrowhead. I imagine if someone got up as early as you did for a walk, thought that they heard an angel singing. They'll be telling that tale for the rest of their lives. Wish you would sing more often and with Philip. 💜🦝
You will need to share videos of Phillip wearing his kilt! I hope you realize that kilts are very comfortable and they tend to attract other kilts and highland tweeds and such! Check out the "Angels Share" tartan... there are also a significant number of French tartans as well... Phillip enjoy wearing your kilt!!!
Oh Stephanie, I got all choked up when hearing your lovely song, during a beautiful walk, you are such a dear and loved treasure to so many Love and respect from Canada ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Oh you must sing some more. You have a beautiful voice. It's been a long time. Does phillip have any musical talent.?? I'm in love to see you too. Do a do it.. Singing together. Philip that Kilt you bought it's going to be beautiful you must model. ❤❤❤. I'm living through you now. I'm too old to travel. Then I have trouble walking..
@@raynonabohrer5624 Phillip has a lovely singing voice too and there is one or two vlogs from a few years ago when he was in a musical. He was also in a band when much younger.
This was so beautiful, every second of it thank you Stephanie, thank you. You sing like an angel. And what a beautiful song as well perfect for the isle of Skye. Now I’m going to watch it again.
Although you have a lovely singing voice, I'm glad you only sang one verse of the Skye song. Wow - so many orchids in that castle! Great tartan choice for the kilt Phillip.
I absolutely positively love love love that strawberry jumper. I’m just a tiny bit older than you and strawberries were so popular in my youth. Well done Philip.
One of your most brilliant vlogs ever! I enjoyed Stephanie singing, along with all the footage of places I would love to visit. Simply beautiful and well put together.
I'm a huge Diana Gabaldon, Outlander fan. I've read all the books and when the movie series came out, and I heard that song the first time, it was just haunting. Thank you for singing it here. Scotland is like a magical place. Phillip, my son has a few kilts. We ordered a full dress kilt with everything, including the shoes, from a family in Scotland that hand makes it all. It was for my son's wedding. He looked spectacular! The castle is lovely. Very warm and inviting, which, I imagine, is not easy to do! I love that fact that every time you get on the train, they are standing there handing out whisky! You are being very pampered!
Skye is beautiful went there about 10 years ago. I still have my Mother’s kilt from this establishment. Autumnal is a more descriptive word than fall. I like the strawberry jumper. 😊
Stephanie, so awesome of you to take us along on this once in a lifetime getaway. Thank you for singing the Skye song as well, inspired by the landscape.
Why is everyone shocked at Stephanie's beautiful singing?! She's a theater kid, she even went to college for it. She used to sing in the Grand Salon for guests all the time. Are most people here new??
Wow,My husband now wears kilts after I told him about Sadie Petherick's Russian biker friend, Stanislav whose TH-cam channel is 8Garage. He has been seen doing handywork wearing a utility kilt. When I told my husband how handsome Stan looked, he immediately bought two utility kilts (he's 64 yrs old whereas i'm a decade younger) and he has since bought more including the Irish Heritage tartan as he has Irish blood.
Stephanie, has anyone ever told you, you should write a book or do storytelling? You have such a marvelous way of wording things and your voice lends itself to telling stories. It’s a wonderful gift 🥰🥰. Love this journey in Scotland ❤️
The variety that Chateau Diaries presents is truly remarkable. This is one of the all-time best videos. I would love it all, but to be let loose in that shop would be heaven. If only l was in Philips shoes being measured for a kilt, and then have a Chateau to wear it at. Well, l can only dream. Thank you for taking us on this amazing journey.
Loved the glimpses of Scotland! Your singing was wonderful Stephanie, can’t wait to see your kilt Philip and enjoyed the strawberry jumper. Thank you for including us! ❤️❤️

The Antique Store that Philip was drawn into was wonderful and all of those gorgeous bits- Steph I so enjoyed this thanks! I’m sorry Phillip is not feeling well. What a shame especially after it took so long for you both to vacation in Scotland. I hope he feels better soon! Looks like shopping may be lifting his spirits a little! 😊
The strawberry fair isle sweater Philip chose for you is beautiful! And, it just lights up your face! You will certainly remember this delightful trip each time you wear it! And, it has a little extra special meaning coming from The Highlands via a little pop culture. Outlander fans may recall "The Clan Fraser crest features three cinquefoils, strawberry flowers, or Fraises, as they're usually known. The name 'Fraser' even comes from this French word 'fraise', which means 'strawberry'. The clan motto is 'Je Suis Prest', which is old French for 'I am ready'." I found this next bit rather neat as I refreshed my memory looking up the latter. An ancestor of Frézier's was knighted and bestowed the name by the king of France in the year 916 after offering his highness a gift of ripe strawberries. An extraordinary selection, indeed, Philip - now, you feel better soon! The train trip you're taking us along with is simply breathtaking!
This is such a great video! The shops (saw a beautiful porcelain sculpture of a seated dog that I'd love) , the food, the autumn scenery, the train, the castle. Just about everything!
I went to Skye 50 years ago. The wind blew none stop for a week. It was quite a vacation. I also visited Blair Atholl Castle and Loch Rannoch. I walked round the loch all alone and heard the bagpipes played by a solitary piper in the mountains surrounding the loch. It was a fabulous adventure but I must admit that every castle I visited in my younger days always led me down to inspect the dungeons. Now I spend my days in old western horse barns escaping longevity with the spirit of Commanche. Horses, Barns and Dungeons. Have a wonderful journey. Lots of ❤ from Arizona. ❤

Ah what an amazing adventure. Skye is so beautiful, there are a couple on TH-cam Will and Sarah who vlog about their life living in a remote cottage by beautiful surroundings called living the Skye life. Also, your clothes on this trip are so chic and perfect for a Scotland adventure. Loved the tour of the castle and the shopping trip, especially Philip's choice of the tartan for his kilt.
