This tool won't let me get a single gear at once as the other one infers its properties from first one. So in the end always an error comes up. I guess only manually designing from scratch would work then?
The built in gear creation function doesn't produce an involute profile. Instead it creates arcs. People should be aware of this before using this functionality.

Any idea how to change desired gear ratio? I wanted to use 1/100 but its not within the range.
Try all of the settings. worst case scenario you will have to make two separate gears and assemble them in a separate assembly

look at 2:55, there is the option is called face width, you can insert the desired thickness of your gear design
