Love this way of making a smoothly fitted hat. So easy to do with this short row method. Always thought it would involve lots of pieces to sew together but there is just the one seam. Can't believe how easy it is. ❤

Craig, I absolutely love this design!! All the hats look fabulous!! The different colors in the yarns enhanced the garter stitch & added to the beauty. I will definitely make mine with those types of yarns🤗💕

Thank you for this video. I knit loosely so I had to go to a size 8 needle. I knit continental and I had a little trouble figuring out the wraps. I have one less front to back movement than you showed. but I got it. I might try this on my knitting machine. ☺

This was great. Thanks for showing how to knit a fitted hat. I tried to do one on my own and it was pretty much a disaster. I just couldn't figure out how to reduce the rows to make it fitted. Can't wait to try this out. Off to the yarn shop!

Love, love, love the variegated fall colors hat! I think I might try an ombre with this. I haven't knitted with ombre (crocheted only), so I'm not sure what it would look like, but I will give a whirl. Thank you so much for your always awesome tutorials!

I love your energy and the way that you show how to do everything.. so patient and calm! I discovered the short row hat about 18 months ago, and have made at least 25 in that time! I haven't been doing my wraps this way, so I will certainly try this next time. I do like making ribs at the brim and somethimes a few ridges that make a shape just below the crown. I really get into mixing knits, purls and using them to create simple textsures. I just made a quick baby hat in all garter though for the very reason you love the garter stitch, stretchyness! Babies heads grow at alarming rates! Thanks and I know that I will learn so many things from your videos, again, love your method!

Will definitely be trying this method, is it size 10mm needles or 3.25mm needles uk size 10. Red yarn is similar to our Aran which tends to be size 7 needles uk size.

    Hi Fiber spider 🕷️,
I was wondering if you have a mandala blanket tutorial??
Your an amazing person to learn from, you are very talented and have a soothing voice, I love how you are very explanatory and make sure that each step is explained very well! I know I’d be able to finally work up a mandal if I could learn through a tutorial made by you!
If you do not have one maybe could you consider this? Please 🙏
Look forward to more new crochet tutorials as always ❤
I’ve watched almost all of your crochet tutorials and followed along with quite a bit of them!!!
Thanks for teaching me how to make such lovely pieces ❤
Your truly an amazing teacher 🙌

Thank you very much! I don't really have a mandala blanket in the traditional sense. However I do have a tutorial on a dreamcatcher style shawl and then there's the kaleidoscope blanket.

Thanks a lot for the video! Super helpful! I've realised after the third wedge that I've been taking the yarn and knitting it around from the front instead of the back, does it make a huge difference? or would it still look nice at the end? (beginner over here) Thanks a lot for the great tutorial once more

I would love to learn to knit I've been able to learn the basics a while ago but I haven't for a long time. My problem is when I make a mistake it's not easy to redo and get everything back on track. Is Thier a video on how to correct mistakes?

    • @FiberSpider
      @FiberSpider  ปีที่แล้ว

I have a video on using a Lifeline. It doesn't fix mistakes, but it does create a way to keep your work safe from unraveling all of your work.

Hey there Fiber Spider, i have a question for you, and i'm sorry if you've already answered this one before, but is it okay for you if people sell items they've created using your tutorials? Not for mass production of course, more like individual pieces for something like markets etc... Would love to hear back from you. Have a nice day! 👋
