I gotta say the Big Gete Star is really really cool to me. In his commentary, Taka talked about how Cell's first appearance was positively unnerving to him when he first watched the Cell saga because, unlike Frieza, who was effectively a Saturday-Morning-Cartoon villain, Cell was much more akin to a slasher-villain. With the way that Cooler acquired the Star and how he is hooked up inside it, it feels like the closest Dragonball will ever come to cosmic horror.
Yeah I'm always a little bothered by how little people have had to say about some elements of the movie. Like that monster Cooler turns into at the end, not to mention the way Goku and Vegeta were basically catatonic and suspended by those wires was horrifying.

In his commentary, Taka talked about how Cell's first appearance was positively unnerving to him when he first watched the Cell saga because, unlike Frieza, who was effectively a Saturday-Morning-Cartoon villain, Cell was much more akin to a slasher-villain. With the way that Cooler acquired the Star and how he is hooked up inside it, it feels like the closest Dragonball will ever come to cosmic horror.
Yeah I'm always a little bothered by how little people have had to say about some elements of the movie. Like that monster Cooler turns into at the end, not to mention the way Goku and Vegeta were basically catatonic and suspended by those wires was horrifying.
The "Do you want to know what death tastes like" is one of my favorite lines in any entertainment medium
