It was kinda shitty. But I think it worked as a positive in a sense because it led to him being rehired (I think it sucked he got fired) and I think he has said that when they brought him back in that he ended up getting more money.
Edge married his second wife Lisa in October 2004. The affair between Edge & Lita became public knowledge in Feb. 2005. The fact Edge started an affair, a few months into his marriage, is trash behaviour. He got the least heat from this, which is shameful!!

Matt said himself that he retrospectively, should have stayed on SD. He said following Lita to RAW preluded his injury, Edge also going to RAW, and Hardy's release. Matt admits that he only moved to RAW because Lita asked him to. He acknowledged that he had a good thing going and moving to RAW screwed it up. There you go folks.

It's never good to mix business with personal. At the same time it's hard not to when most of the people you see for months at a time is your co-workers.
That got Matt hardy over more than he would have without it. In the end it worked out for everyone.
I believe he’s said that when he was brought back after being fired that he got a deal for more money than he was making before. The only person who didn’t really end up having it work out in my view was Lita. She got the brunt of the criticism and Edge mostly skated by. It was unfair to her because in the end it takes two to tango. But in the end it’s the reality when one of those parties is one of the top stars of the company.

Bruce said it worked out well for all sides in the end but I'm not sure it did for Lita. I mean Matt married Reby and has awesome kids. Adam married Beth and they have awesome kids. I mean Lita seems kind of alone but there isn't much out there about her personal life. I suppose that could stem from this and I really don't want to gauge her on being a wife and having kids. I know that is what this sounds like but its more she seems alone where the others have someone to share life with. I guess I just think it's sad. Jeff wasn’t in WWE at this time. This was 2004-05. Jeff left WWE the first time in 2003. Also have to remember that prior to this happening edge was one of their best friends so you wouldn’t expect for it to be any kind of issue. He’s married and one of your best friends to boot. Had to be a big shock.

Edge is back in WWE, working a part time schedule where when he is on the show he’s featured prominently and likely making millions of dollars to do so. Edge is married to Beth Phoenix who he has been married to for years with children. What are you talking about he’s “nowhere”? The years following this until he was forced to retire he was basically at the very top of his show for pretty much the entire time. When he did retire he had success in acting. Edge made a shitty move at this point in time but let’s not pretend he’s been or in a bad spot in his life.

I miss the days when Conrad would argue with Bruce/Eric when they wee lying or dodging questions. Bruce more for dodging and Eric for outright lying/misremembering. Admittedly, sometimes the disagreements would seem staged, but By the time I stopped listening (when they started running five minutes of ads every couple minutes) Conrad would roll with whatever Eric/Bruce had to say.
