My dude I am totally loving this Mega Man series you're doing! The interviews, the behind the scenes and creation process with fans... there's so much here I love!❤❤ Mega Man 2 has to be one of my personal favorites but I still love what you did in the first video too! Keep up the great work because I'm looking forward to your Mega Man X series if you ever do one in the future!!!❤
@LowellLucasJr. Oh Mega Man X is definitely coming. We'll be working our way there step by step and the events of these games will influence the world of the future!
39:18 - Word of advice, the flat bit directly under Wily’s cockpit is a solid wall. If you lay a Crash Bomber there right as Wily starts moving forward, the explosions will OHKO him without fail.
33:25 - I was under the impression that Quick Man, being a speed freak who habitually faceplanted walls due to his lightspeed movement, busted his temporal failsafe after one too many self-inflicted concussions. If Robots can even get concussed. Well close enough since there was internal damage done.
47:34 - Man, it would’ve been absolutely hilarious if you worked in Enker’s debut chapter from Rockman-san. We get a flashback of their first fight from Enker’s perspective… and he’s whining about how Mega Man gets to shred him with buster shots from a safe distance while he’s stuck taking the hits for just one attack in return.
With every video of this series about the mainline games I look forward to seeing Wily's "Evil Eyebrow Wiggle". It's his eyebrows that are the real villain of the whole series.
I’d place Super Adventure Rockman right after 5 due to the presence of Beat and the fact that the whole Darkman thing built enough of a rapport between brothers that Blues was cool with loaning Rock with his shield for the ongoing EMP crisis. Plus it just makes sense that Mega Man being stronger than two or three waves of Robot Masters combined (given the scaling from Ra Thor and Ra Moon) by that point would turn the Robot Masters from 6 into a relative joke (dunno about you, but 6 was probably the easiest of the mainlines pre-7; doubt it was by design)… after Terra of the Stardroids kicked his teeth in between both stories. Very not canon sure, but it definitely has a solid place if it actually were.
If I had a nickel for every Capcom franchise that made a name for itself thanks to having a popular sequel, I'd have two nickels, weird that it happened twice
@@GamerThumbTV it didn't reach it's peak until the 3rd game where Dante became a wisecracking badass demon slayer, I believe the true other example has to be Street Fighter II which revolutionized the fighting game genre in ways the developers didn't even imaginw
100% Street Fighter 2. As a kid my friends and I always wondered why they "skipped" Street Fighter 1. We had never seen a Street Fighter 1 arcade machine and it had no Super Nintendo/Genesis port. Then when I discovered it as an older kid and played it....WOW. Street Fighter wasn't good until 2.
Another entertaining installment. I love how you even come up with origins/explanations for why the basic enemies are in the stages. Also nice use of Ra Moon being the reason why Wily can rebuild and copy the Robot Masters so quickly. Though does this mean we're not getting the main story from Super Adventure in your timeline or is that going to wind up a "Revenge of Ra Moon" kind of story? Looking forward to the next chapter.😊
The story presented in Super Adventure Rock man just doesn't work within the existing classic universe. Too many discrepancies that Capcom had nothing to do with. Even Inafune writes that game off. But it does provide good pieces of story that work to explain that alien simulation and quick Robot clones. My plan is to do a review for it eventually just to cover it, along with several other weird side games like Mega Man Soccer in a big video.
@@GamerThumbTV Sweet! I have an old manga for Soccer, don't remember if it had a story it was more gag than anything. Here's another one to add to your weird list: Rockman Strategy for pc.
I just wish that fan game where OG Mega Man goes up against a prototype Zero was canon, I'd love to see your take on it! Absolutely awesome work as always dude!
Oddly enough that's one portion of the classic/X universe that Capcom has commented. Their take: Zero and Mega Man never faced off. Other than that there's no canon story between classic and X. But I do have ideas 💡
@@GamerThumbTV Looking forward to it. I'd imagine that won't occur until late into next year, given the inclusions of the World games and counting 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, along with Mega Man & Bass 1 & 2.
@eslm-studios2996 Just playing it video by video. But some games will be be combined in one video. Like this next one will cover Mega Man 3 NES, Mega Man 2 Game Boy, and Wily Wars.
The way I interpret it: He was stealing Dr. Light's military funding like I showed in Part 1, to build his robot army. Now he just constantly has robots on auto pilot building things for him. So it wouldn't require more money and resources. His robots are just doing it for him automatically based on his plans.
@@GamerThumbTV and with robots as an army he can have them steal or fabricate what he needs. Plus good ol' shell companies to further launder investments
That was awesome! Worth the wait. I am looking forward to seeing the connection between the alt evil mega man and how it becomes the inspiration for mega man x. God bless, stay safe, and shoot for the moon!
Sorry im late to the party but loving the Megagan series your doing!❤ Youve continued an excellent job of combining wlements from the game and comic lore 8nto an amazing video! Just keep up the greatness my dude!
Oh right. For the next episode, will you be working Mega Man: Rush Marine into the narrative? Rush Marine is a 2010’s mobile game for the Blackberry that’s more or less an auto-scroller Rockman World game. It’s basically the origin story to the Rush Marine. Wily terrorizes the seas, Mega Man goes to stop him aboard a pre-nerf Rush Jet but is foiled when Wily just camps undersea when the fight turns against him. So Rush gets his Rush Marine form and Rock pilots him through the depths to fight eight sea monster mechaniloids (the game’s answer to Robot Masters, Rush even gets his own Copy Weapons from them) before finally chasing down Wily and driving him back out of the ocean for good. The only thing missing was a boss rush, since only like one or two resurfaced for the Wily stages entirely reworked from their original fights.
31:10 Aw man, I wished that you used the japanese version of Flash Man's flavor text that states that he uses his powers to spy on women while they shower. XD
I hope you will eventually touch upon an oft overlooked piece of world lore: The substitution, and eventually full replacement, of natural organic life with artificial, robotic versions. Pay attention to the backgrounds of the stages and minor details. You'll see trees that are natural and organic in some of the early games and later on you'll see fully robotic trees and insects and fish and then by the time of MMX you'll see the start of metal or organic matter fusing. By the end of Legends 2 it can be safely assumed that all of the original organic life of earth is extinct and has been replaced by technology that perfectly replicates life to a 1:1 scale but isn't the original organic life.
No fans don’t believe doctor light is the worst father ever, it’s almost certainly a joke if they do, I wish my dad could build me a flying dog that turns into vehicles and power armor, also elecman doesn’t have super speed, quickman was designed for speed, in the manga they say he’s nearly the speed of light

Considering Mega Man II (World 2) has Robot Masters from 2 and 3, it likely takes place after 3. The Archie Comics have their own weird little timeline. Though the Game Boy games themselves never outright state it.
