There was a divine reason our paths crossed. We had nothing except our unconditional love for eachother. we went through hell and back to many times to count. But you were always by my side. When we were homeless living in abandoned buildings you were always by my side. Through my entire addiction you never judged me. You were my best friend and always there to comfort me. No matter how sick or broke I was, you always came first. You never ever missed a meal or were hungry. How many times I went through dope sickness so you could eat. How we would sit in the park and just lay next to each other. Me crying uncontrollably because I wanted a different life for us. That the way we were living wasn't how it was supposed to be. And in that same park on that gorgeous morning God changed our lives. I swore that I was going to change our lives. We weren't going to live like that any longer. The hardest thing I ever did was quitting opiods cold turkey. The sickness and all that came with it. Yet I made sure you ate during it. You layed with me in that terrible place while I felt like I was going to die. You would lay your head on my chest and give me kisses. As the days passed and the sickness started to subside. You gave me my strength and hope. I walked through hell and you never left my side. You and I did it. Nobody helped or cared about us. Only God was with us. That devil was off my shoulder. Life seemed so beatutiful. The sky was bluer and the grass greener. And everything fell right into place. I got that great job offer in a different state. Away from all the temptation. We left for the new chapter in our lives. No more concrete jungle. We moved into our home with the huge fenced in backyard. We had a fridge full of food. Heat and shelter. We made it through hell. I'm so sorry I ever put you in that situation. To take you in and I had only lint in my pocket and nowhere to call home. But we ended up in paradise.... BY EACH OTHER'S SIDE. How we would sit in the park and just lay next to each other. Me crying uncontrollably because I wanted a different life for us. That the way we were living wasn't how it was supposed to be. And in that same park on that gorgeous morning God changed our lives. I swore that I was going to change our lives. We weren't going to live like that any longer. The hardest thing I ever did was quitting opiods cold turkey. The sickness and all that came with it. Yet I made sure you ate during it. You layed with me in that terrible place while I felt like I was going to die. You would lay your head on my chest and give me kisses. As the days passed and the sickness started to subside. You gave me my strength and hope. I walked through hell and you never left my side. You and I did it. Nobody helped or cared about us. Only God was with us. That devil was off my shoulder. Life seemed so beatutiful. The sky was bluer and the grass greener. And everything fell right into place. I got that great job offer in a different state. Away from all the temptation. We left for the new chapter in our lives. No more concrete jungle. We moved into our home with the huge fenced in backyard. We had a fridge full of food. Heat and shelter. We made it through hell. I'm so sorry I ever put you in that situation. To take you in and I had only lint in my pocket and nowhere to call home. But we ended up in paradise.... BY EACH OTHER'S SIDE. The joy of seeing you so happy. Us so happy. It was a divine blessing. We had 5yrs together in this new life. And you deserved every bit of it. I spoiled you more than anyone could imagine. Swimming in our pool. Lying under the same night sky. Staring at the same star I wished upon just a short time before when life was so bleak and colorless. And the day that you passed on, I layed next to you holding you. Looking into your eyes crying. I never left your side. It's been 2yrs now. And I want you to know that I owe it all to you and God. I think about you every single day. I am now married to the greatest woman in the world. I had your picture in my pocket the day I got married. Your picture is on my dresser. You will never ever be forgotten. I want to Thank God and the greatest DOG that ever lived. My 15yo black lab MR. MACKARONNI. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but GOD is DOG backwards. But either way it is spelled, they both saved my life.
PS. A new little girl crossed my path in the most crazy circumstance. I truly believe you sent her to me. Her name is Paris and she is a super sweet puppy back lab. If she can even be a quarter of what you were to me I will be blessed. I love you buddy. Thank you for always BEING BY MY SIDE.

When I came home from a deployment . I was tired and beat . but my wife was there to greet me the best feeling I ever had . we had a dinner and she played this song . 20 years later She is still by my side

My mom didnt know english, but she had loved this music. She had a such an ecstatic taste of music. As if the message in this song is from her to me. She was so sweetly toxic, I can't describe. Passed away from cancer when she was only 42, makes me everytime miss her despite 7 years ago😮💨
So my mom died 20 something ago. Dad, 10 ago. Brother, 5 ago. All cancer. And then a few years ago, out of no where, we find an aggressive tumor in my wife’s breast. Had we Found it one year later and she’s gone. Yet, I’m by her side. Our three kids are by our side. And the Lord, kept by all out sides. Kept by my side. She all clear now. And on we go.
