Question- I'm brand new to using resin. -- at the 3:00 minute mark when the artist is adding the clear resin: 1) do they still do the 1:1 mix ratio? and 2) approx how long is time lapsing i between these pours? how long SHOULD we wait for those layers?

They're not true flowers, you can use dried flowers or artificial flowers：）Real flowers would affect the curing of epoxy resin so it's not an option for us.

I just received this in the mail and am very exited to make this with remaining flowers I have dried from my daughters wedding to make as a housewarming gift. Is there a way to prevent bubbles between layers. Thanks for the great video. Also about how much resin does this mold take with flowers

Glad you like this video! Dip the flowers with resin first would help prevent bubbles and this mold needs approx 176oz resin for making a table. 😊

Epoxies cure by forming a copolymer with polyfunctional curatives or hardeners. A hardener generally has a reactive hydrogen that reacts with the epoxide groups in the resin. Some commonly used classes of hardeners, in increasing order of reactivity are: Phenols. Anhydrides.

We used around 176oz resin for this tabletop and just wait 6-8 hours the resin gets into gel phase and then pour another layer. 😊

Hi there! In the process of making this table and coming out beautifully so far! The only problem is my flowers got taller than the mold :( do you have any ideas or solutions?? Should i move what I have to a larger and higher mold?
