Ah, Nefertiti. That's a fun one. I remember listening to it all the time back in the day. Though, a slight correction...sorta. Nefertiti itself is actually from "Mana Khemia" (PS2), which is a black sheep duology sub-series to "Atelier". Both it and its direct sequel are more proper RPGs. They have less focus on slice-of-life antics and time management which are the "Atelier" staples, though elements of those are still there. Nefertiti often gets included in future entries, usually as a DLC music pack. So it's a pretty popular track. There's also a vocal version to this song. Though this bgm version is what actually plays in the game which, as you probably can expect, is for a boss battle.
Happy to see my request being picked! Yeah this version, while not the original or the one with lyrics, is the best in my opinion. The lyrics are incredibly depressing and stand in stark contrast with the instrumentation. The original, from a game called Mana Khemia, is a boss theme but the game was on the PS2 and was originally very compressed. Glad you enjoyed it!
Ayy I was one of the requesters for this one! It's actually an expanded mix of a major boss theme from Mana Khemia. Of the Atelier franchise, it can effectively be split into 8 series's/saga's. The original track came from the 4th saga but got this expanded mix at the end of the 5th saga. It also has a lyrical version that used this version as a base. All in all, this track rules!
The games are basically you make friends, go adventuring to collect ingredients, and run your own alchemist shop. Kinda slice of life with a heavy focus on the crafting elements. It is the theme for a boss battle from the game Mana Khemia, a side series to the Atelier series, and it is so popular it kinda shows up in the other games. Nefertiti is the name of one of the most famous Egyptian queens who basically upended the entire Egyptian religious scene. Also MMXI is 2011
Believe me, this song was already a banger on Mana Khemia (aka the only Atelier with a weird name, besides Mana Khemia 2), and this Meruru remix just proves it. If it were my recommendation, I would also love to see you react to the vocal version, because the singer's voice fits amazingly with this sort of music. Or there's no even need to be the vocal version of this song in particular. There's also some nice song with a little song from the same game with a nice image starring a bunch of nice friends who also happens to be titled "Stigmata".
(Azure23z) Wow, it feel like ages since I requested this. It's nice to see it finally get uploaded. Not to be confused with the version from that come from Mana Khemia. This one is much more cleaner , uncompressed. It been remix and extended and doesn't have the original lyric.
The atelier series boss tracks(well all tracks really not just the bosses) has honestly always been top tier for me.. and this is definitely up there among my favourite tracks in the series XD . and yeah the contrast between the boss tracks and how the series looks is definitely something that catches newcomers off guard lol.
This song is a blast from the past for me, I remember playing Mana Khemia and hearing this against the boss it appears for and being HYPE as hell. I think I turned the MK version of Nefertiti into my ringtone for like a year or more, lol.
I'm actually surprised how little I remember of the tracks while playing, only a few stand out to me but normally it's more the field themes as you spend so much time on the field in Atelier and it helps the atmosphere a lot. So sometimes, I'm blown away by the requests that you get because I normally don't remember them xD
WOOO LET'S GO NEFERTITI, one of the most badass songs in the series. Loved this song the first time i heard it, love it even more now, thank you for reacting to this, hope to see X VS Zero from Megaman X5 someday.
Right off the bat this reminds me of Touhou, then changes into some awesome Metal. The melody sounds awesome and motivating, this makes me think this is the type of battle theme where there heroes are going to absolutely destroy the boss lol. The guitar solos were a lot of fun to listen to, this is such an epic song and it's got pure banger essence. Not much to say but this was super enjoyable, right up my alley and my taste.
Oh hey I was hoping someone would request this, this song is actually from a game titled Mana Khemia, this is a re-arrange, I was hoping someone would request the original, but this works too.
mind you i only played a few of the newer ones. but i have gone pretty hard into pretty much every dynasty warrior game and spin of game. ever since i have played dynasty warriors gundam
@@JessesAuditorium Yes and no. Both games are developed by different studios (GUST for Atelier, Omega Force for Warriors), but both belong to Koei Tecmo. There's even one Warriors spin-off game that includes Atelier characters.
Nope. They got absorbed into koei tecmo only like 10 years ago. Nefertiti was released before the developer, gust become part of koei tecmo. The remix certainly added that dw feel but the original was already lit af.
there are two versions of this song (afaik), from mana khemia and atelier meruru. This version is different from the one in mana khemia as this one has no lyrics, and sounds “cleaner” since most mana khemia versions ive seen sounds “crunchier” or compressed
The three series have always had a musical connection, among other things. Mana Khemia has a song called "Crystalized". Ar Tonelico II, released four months later, features a remix of that song called "Indra". This very game has a remix of "Crystalized", with the same title this time.
Atelier is one of those series were the more frillier and flowery the character art looks, the more metal the soundtrack becomes.
Especially For Meruru and Lulua.

Nefertiti is basically second only to Cleopatra in terms of historical fame.

that Boss theme from Teacher (Sensei) Isolde Schelling of Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis

More from you this week :D
@@JessesAuditoriumYay, I wonder which one you will enjoy more =) It fun seeing your reaction, when the song doesn't correlate to the image lol

Atelier Meruru is loaded with thrashy metal songs. Pretty much every boss theme follows in those footsteps.
I'm actually surprised how little I remember of the tracks while playing, only a few stand out to me but normally it's more the field themes as you spend so much time on the field in Atelier and it helps the atmosphere a lot. Nefertiti from Mana Khemia! one of my favorite boss fight themes of all time 🤟
Someone has to send in Ayesha battle tracks, that's where Daisuke Achiwa poured in a lot of his heart into Atelier battle themes
WOOO LET'S GO NEFERTITI, one of the most badass songs in the series.
Loved this song the first time i heard it, love it even more now, thank you for reacting to this, hope to see X VS Zero from Megaman X5 someday.
It's actually from mana khemia, by the same developpers of the atelier games
LET'S GOOOOOO, ATELIER MUSIC 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Fuck yes, i love this track.. though i always thought it was from something called Mana Khemia
Ooh I'm rooting for this one 😎 I love it, also the vocal version "The Wind of Falling Flowers" (Sange no Kaze) by Yuuto Izumi
Been waiting for this!!!

i still like the original version from mana khemia more but atelier meruru's version is also awesome
Mana Khemia Ahhhhhh!!!! Take me back!
Ah yes my beloved akg k240 a pain to get mini XLR cables
Estrella from Meruru is also good, for different reasons.
And I've said it before The Peaceful Ruins from Totori is another, for other reasons as well.
For context, I own (and beaten, but only a couple Platinums). Atelier Rorona, Totori, Meruru, Ayesha, Escha & Logi, Lulua, Ryza, Ryza 2
Nefertiti is actually from Mana Khemia and they brought it back to Atelier Meruru, I guess.
Kinda. There is two versions of the song.
This mix was made for Atelier Meruru (actually recorded again without vocals)
Koei Tecmo at its finest🎉🎉 I don’t even play atelier
Oh hey I was hoping someone would request this, this song is actually from a game titled Mana Khemia, this is a re-arrange, I was hoping someone would request the original, but this works too.
you can tell that atelier is made by the same people who do dynasty warriors
Is that right?
