    This fly will ride hook point down if no weight is added to it, to have hook point ride up, add a medium sized 1/30oz dumbell eyes to the articulated fish spine, in between the middle set of sili legs and the 2 feather tip tail
    full material list:
    hook used - gamakatsu SL11-3H
    small chenille
    sf fiber for tail
    sili legs
    black krystal flash
    shrimp eyes
    grizzly marabou wrapped
    shrimp dub brush, tan
    25mm fish spine
    sili legs back and middle
    2 feathers sticking out front for shrimp tail
    shrimp dub brush wrapped

    Interesting pattern, good idea, looks great. If you wrap your materials in the same direction as you wrap your thread, it will make fastening the material easier and you'll end up with a tighter tied fly. Thanks for sharing.

    🎯🏆‼️ I think I'll try this and add some bead chain or perhaps small dumbbell eyes and make it ride face up like a Crawdad. What an exceptional tie, thanks

    What articulated spine are you using? It's different than any ones I have.

      it’s a 25mm one meant for steelhead and salmon, it’s about double the thickness of a regular spine, the company name is fish skull
