I use the large when tying these in #2 which is what is in the video but if I go down to #4 or #6 I’ll move to mediums
I have a dubbing brush maker. Does the tarantula brush use wire or mono for the core
It is a very thin wire for the core. You can easily make your own using fish hair and daddy long legs.
would this work for redfish in Tampa Bay?
Sure would. Adjust the weight as needed for depth and add a weedguard if fishing over grass and you’ll be good to go
Do you use the Stonfo`s dubbing brush device to make your own brushes ?
I do not. I have a dubbing brush table I got online but I forgot the name of the site. I’m not great at making my own brushes but if you are they can really save some money with recent price increases
