    Great looking fly ......I have tied similar shrimp bugs ....and in salt water the Spotted bay bass love them . I use them in the lagoons around where I live . thanks again for the tie .....

    Nice one Marten.I give the mono on the eyes a little nip with some pliers to flatten it and it makes them easier to tie in.

    I make some of my own shrimp eyes. If you dab a drop of hot glue onto the tip of the two monofilament pieces it will be much easier to manipulate.

      Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure the fact that they were separate was causing the problem. I always just pick 2 eyes and tie them in, generally without any problems. I think probably I had used slightly too soft/light mono for the eyes.

      Fritz Raddatz entweder oder.. Ich mag wie es mit augen aussieht, sie sind aber nicht unbedingt nötig
