Greetings from South Carolina, I went to my doctor today, she asked how am I keeping my stress down. I told her that watching your channel along with Julie and Martin also Paul and Antony. I am so happy for all of you and the close friendships you have with all the boaters. God Bless
Hello South Carolina and Greetings from Cambridgeshire in England 🇬🇧👋👋🇺🇸. Good choices there - in fact you follow the same favourite narrowboat channels as me! One more I could recommend for you to maybe take a look at and that's "The Mindful Narrowboat" with Vanessa and her dog Zephyr - she's excellent for keeping the stress levels down. Stay safe.
That's wonderful to hear James, and exactly the feeling I am aiming for with the vlogs, especially the music choices. The boating community, as you can see, is one of the huge positives of this lifestyle, and we are lucky to have have found some wonderful friends. Paul & Anthony were one of the first bloggers we watched when we were researching this lifestyle change, together with Fran & Rich of TH-cam channel Floating Our Boat, not sure if you have checked them out? the Mindful Narrowboat is also a good relaxing choice like Jill has said too, although we have only exchanged hellos and waves with Vanessa when we passed her a couple of years ago. I remember our first time crossing paths with Julie & Martin when they had just started their channel and they were excited to be recognised, and now we are the best of friends 😊
The area of the Foxton locks sure was pretty. Your video tonight was a nice way to end an emotional day. I'm out of town for the weekend and today attended a cousin's memorial. Just relaxing now and staying cool. We're in the middle of a heatwave of temps in the high 90's! Glad the car has great AC!

Thanks so much Phil! Pete’s very dedicated to those planters. But we have decided we need to replant them with some autumn colour as they haven’t faired as well as previous years with this cold wet summer we have had!
Hiya Caroline and Pete, wow 😮. Beautiful foxton, so very pretty there. I am in the middle of writing you a letter, then I will start getting your pressie removed from the stretch frame and putting it all together, along with the other hobby that I do. The trip down Foxton locks looks so nice. I know the swing bridge you are talking about on the Market Harbourough arm, we went through it whilst on a helmsman course and took 2 of us to operate it.
It is honestly the most difficult swing bridge on the network to operate! Perhaps there are others that we haven’t done yet!
