the parts being more expensive definitely comes down to it being a discontinued bike bro. To be honest the SPORTSBIKES in our class arent too expensive with parts and maintenance. But yeh solid takes from thie video, good to see you posting more on YT
Lowkey forget it’s a discontinued bike 😑 but you’re right they aren’t too expensive but it can get expensive over time. Will be more uploads now for sure 🫡
What I do is reset my trip counter, then I know exactly how much fuel I have after filling up
I do the same thing with my Firestorm. As soon as I approach anywhere near 100 miles from the last fill up I refuel. It is a thirsty bugger and only has a 16 litre fuel tank. The most I have manged before the fuel light comes on is 108 miles.😂
fuel gauge? looks like you're missing some mirrors too brother
The R6 since its inception has always been a blast. Not sure why you ride one on the street without mirrors though , or am I missing something?
I became very complacent with my mirrors when I first started riding. Never did my life saver look and nearly paid the price one day so took my mirrors off to force me to look over my shoulder and just ever since then I felt way more comfortable doing that
@@MotoMorYT I agree, the life saver look is essential. None the less I feel mirrors are still important to for me, especially at speed. Stay safe and have fun.👍
Really bad that they don’t have a fuel gauge, I have a 2018 765RS and it has a fuel gauge and miles left in the tank. I don’t really pay attention to the fuel Guage, but the miles left in the tank is a blessing, and it’s tiny so no excuse for not space on the dash?
wait the 2017 model doesnt have fuel gauge either? 😂😂
Unfortunately it doesn’t, they also did the same to the R1’s they don’t have a fuel gauge either
Prev owning a 18' R6 - 19' R1 and now a BMW S1000R the yamaha's are cheap lol.
