I was watching this video with my young son tonight. I wanted to thank you for keeping your language clean and not cussing in your videos. It's important to me that my son can watch fun videos of folks doing wonderful things without cussing. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!
I love the videos, extra cool that you're "finding" money while cleaning up slackers trash. I think a magnet would help speed up the pan cleanout. Take a ziplock bag turn it inside out and keep the magnet on the outside, when you're done turn the bag back out and the steel is inside the bag and the magnets clean. I do this to clean up rust and steel wool, metal shavings from the drill press, etc. It saves me time and reduces the splinters I used to get.
Kyle, your cleaning up the lead and nails and stuff really is impressive ! Watching you enjoy yourself is really great too ! I think alot of folks don't understand people who do things they enjoy for a living. I know! Been a musician all my life... semi retired now but I do still enjoy a good gig here and there ! THANKS!!!
Congrats on the new biggest piece. Love watching someone still get genuinely excited like I imagine I would in the same position. Thanks for taking us along eh
My hands are shaking with you. I could see myself doing something like that 20 or 30 years ago but I can still enjoy watching you. not quite the same. I don’t get to take it homeLOL. HAPPY PANNING. I WILL dream about you tonight. Every time you get more. You go, sweet thing
After watching u do so so much work for a day, or even a few hours , u only got a little gold, but after a few hours of slushing, u done well, and after a week into it, u can have a lot of gold, or even a months worth of digging for a few hours a day , by the next 20 days or less u can make a lot of money for pure gold, all American, So my mistake of only saying a little , but as I’ve seen .... a little a day makes u one wealthy guy! Good luck and god bless your journey in finding gold the old fashion way!
Awesome deal, Kyle...nothing bad about what you're doin...love your enthusiasm level and how you clean up as you prospect, good stuff all the way around ,man.
This is the first time I have seen your video, I subscribed. I will search for gold vicariously through you since I am not physically able to. Thanks so much.
very good video, I mostly love that you show how miners do more good then harm to the environment. We don't just talk about cleaning up our environment we do it.
Great video. Thanks for taking part in making us all look good out there by cleaning up and spreading the message. Congrats on your first picker bud!!! Pa., I am really looking forward to seeing what is under all of that lead in that side crack.
Kyle , your contentiousness , and I appreciate the fact you use no foul language, it's alot of work cleaning that place up , ur right people R disgusting, after looking at the back of that pickup truck, I'm now a subscriber...here in northern NJ...you've got me wanting to go creek diving👍...
You are so right about California. As a lifelong resident in NorCal gold country, I am also an avid prospector. The dredging ban is a joke. These days I still get harassed using my homemade high banker. Even had fish and game write up a ticket, then he tore it up when he discovered how a high banker actually works. Keep up the great work, and WOW that spot!
What part of Missouri are you working this creek? I live in NW Missouri, about half way between Kansas City and St. Joseph. I have a decent size natural spring on my property and have sent samples of glacier rock and quartz off for assay and it always has gold and silver detected.
Kyle, keep it up soon you won't need to pan gold. TH-cam will be your Gold. This was an auto subscribe for me. Thanks Kyle. I know many Creeks in the Ozarks that have bedrock bottoms like that.
Hey Kyle, have you posted the video from Coker Creek in TN where you found all that gold-rich ore? The name was 7 pounds of gold from Coker Creek. I'd really love to watch the video where you crushed all that quarts you brought out.
Good on you for cleaning up the creek. I can't believe how much lead was in there.... wow. You did well finding gold too. It looked fairly rough which tells me it hasn't traveled very far. ps, the round egg shaped rock looked like quartz beach rock or river rock. That piece of quartz traveled a long way to get that smooth.
That thing was part of an old washing machine I think. That’s why it’s so heavy. Good job on the lead removal. Congrats on the picker and large cleanup!
Great video. When you are doing the clean up in the pan don't try scooting the gold with your fingers, when you have the pan tipped up hold the pan firmly with one hand and tap the upper ridge of the pan with your other hand. The gold will walk to the top of the pan. Areas like that classified to a smaller mesh will help you recover more gold do a few different size screens. And always keep your concentrates to fine tune at home. Congratulations on your finds.
I don't think anything you do is wrong or harmful, in the slightest sense of the definition. However, the argument can easily be made that to preserve natural processes, allowing some wildlife to die is essential. Intervening can be considered altering the path of the ecosystem. A good example is with forest fires. We built structures close to, and in areas prone to fires, consistently battled them for years, and finally came to the conclusion that the harm caused by not allowing those fires to take place far outweighed any benefits. Now we're systematically recreating fires in a controlled manner to help manage the forest floors. Always fun to objectively analyze things from multiple perspectives. I personally appreciate your efforts to clean up the rivers and streams, and I'm glad people like yourself have a voice.
that's an awesome find man. Franklin county MO boy right here. I want to get into the hobby this year; Does this stream feed into the river, or have river water feeding it? just curious to know where i can find my first claim. thank you!
Pretty awesome!!!! Applaud you for your efforts! Every pan has the potential to be your best pan ever. I sit in a creek in NC and do the same thing...one pan at a time. I dream of more water or a way to get to the bottom on the cracks faster. Not going to get rich, but the excitement of what might be in the next pan is more than we can contain. Freakish amount of lead you are finding. Proof positive that you are where nature has concentrated the good stuff. Hope you get more flow soon so you can get the sluice going. Just imagine what your mat will look like after a couple of hours running classified material. It will be beautiful!!! Keep doing what you are doing!
These videos are fun to watch. You have a real passion for what you do. You'd be an interesting guy to hang out with. I feel like I've learned enough to do a little myself. But I live in Mississippi (no visible bedrock, lots of sand and gravel). And thanks for what you do to improve the environment. Hope u find the motherlode one day! I'm amazed at how much u found in one day!
Kyle, I'm new to the channel. You're good people. You're a good steward of the area you mine, setting a good example. I'm glad you found what you did. You deserved it and more. Watch out for the ol' back, man.
You are mega awesome, and super funny too! You warn your audience each and every time: "you should wear gloves when you're manually cleaning out a crack!" But you R ALWAYS working barehanded. LOL
I enjoy how you talk in your video's, it's like I'm right there beside you. Great job you're a natural at creating effective videos. No if you would just reply to some of the questions in the comments...
I live in Erie and Lake Erie was made from glaciers so I always wondered if there was gold in the creeks around here. Our creeks have shale rock just like the one you are working. I may go exploring one day.
Hello 🙂, I wanted to ask, maybe you already spoke about it, but what's the list of items, lengths , so I can build one of those little hand pumps? And oh yeah I live in Southeast Indiana with access to Miles of creeks with flat rock, everywhere, cracks everywhere....is this method probably the easiest way to locate some gold? Is a metal detector neccasary? It seems there are only a few items which is nice. I've always cleaned up trash in creeks too, never really found lead though, interesting there is so much poisoning the wild Life, definitely needs to be eliminated from the Creeks. Great job! Thanks 🙏
Congrats on the find!! I think if I were you, I would have brought some empty 5 gallon buckets and filled them up with the pay dirt/material before leaving. Once you get home have a small sluice box there to run the material through and see what extra you could find from it..
You are in a green zone, a place where glaciers moved gold containing rocks far from origin. Minnesota is one. Using my Mantis tiller a rock was caught in the tines, I tossed it in the grass. Before mowing I picked it up, it seemed heavier than a rock that size should be. I got a geo scope 30x lighted magnifier, and I see thinner than hair gold veins running through the rock just the ends are visible, like golden stars. I check along the driveway in the woods where rocks were thrown when they cut through the woods to make the drive way, rocks that look the same but some are much heavier than normal I find the capillary gold veins in maybe 1/4 of those I check. I save the rocks that look the same but weigh less.I think to measure what amount of water they displace and get the weight, with algebra I can guess the gold content, not like there is an assayers office in town.
Nice score!!!! Thank you for getting the trash and lead out of the stream. I am new at prospecting and will have to research these crazy California laws before I go out.
It's really nice to see prospecting for real...i'm sick of those fake vids that show people finding boulders of fake gold...and it's also nice to see someone cleaning up the place. That dinosaur egg looked more like a fossilised Spud 😉...Peace to you my friend.
@@Kylethiemann Thank you for your reply Kyle, trivial fact for you..if you squashed the entire amount of gold ever mined together it would form a cube 28 meters on all sides...some of those guys seem to find that much in one Vid 😊 ...Peace to ya, and stay safe Mr Prospector.
That round thing is just a rock, it was embedded in the surrounding material a long time ago when all that around you was clay and sediments, then over time and pressure the sediment and clay turned into sedimentary rock.
Yup, back in the day. Every summer on the so fork Yuba river, in Washington CA before they made laws against dredging, we worked till our backs broke, drank lots O beer and just really enjoyed life. Always found gold though never that much. Now I can only arm chair it and dream. Way cool, keep it up, great job cleaning up trash. ☺
Awesome Vid! At least you are showing us how to put our time on a productive mode.. can you show us how to build that tool to pull the Gold out? That would be nice to watch. And thanks for cleaning up we need more people like you. Keep it on!
I just try to take as much lead out as I pull out. Precautionary actions prior to doing so no I’ve been hikin creek waters since a little kid, if I were to get lead poisoning or something I would of gotten it lol I’m probably immune lol
I remember when that moment happened to me!!!! The emotion is priceless, congrats, you just gave me that extra push to go back on the coming days to the placer that started it all for me. Thank you, and I'll send you the report when I get back.

Hey Kyle. You say there is gold pretty much everywhere. I live in Sevier County Tennessee. The Smokey Mountains are pretty much in my back yard and I have a creek next to my house. Do you think I could find some in it?
Hey Kyle Ihave been building gold equipment for over 30 years. Found out. For fine gold you need a 12 foot or longer sluice box. The trash pump should have been a 2 inch. Your three will work fine too with some modifications. You can reach me at fouts0024@gmail.com. hit me up some time. I also live in Georgia.
That big chunk of metal you found was an office chair. It pivots on the greasy shaft you see. The rods are what controls the tilting chair back, seat tilt, chair up & down etc.
The big hunk of metal is the inside of an old fashion washing machine that had the hand crank cloths wringer on top. My grandma had one in her garden that didn’t work but still had everything on it lol Just to add you should have used the Little Rock water fall where you moved the leaves as a gold wash. The divots would have worked great
Haven't finished watching the whole video, but I am wondering what your daily haul would be in oz, and money in today's market. Keep up the good work...
Pretty certain that is the cutting deck of a lawn mower crudely folded. On a different note I knew I've been seeing particularly "golden" flakes here in the foothills of the blue ridge and the inspiration in these videos has got me making moves.

Conscientiousness, no? But I agree on all of your praise for this video and how he seems like such a great guy. 🙂
You make native Indians hearts happy keep up the great work taking care of mother earth
Thank you so much for pulling the trash out of there. You're a nice man.
Keep speaking up for Dredging. You are correct. I haul out trash every time.

I always get excited when i find a 50 cent piece of gold like yours.
TK this looks real to me, some people find large chunks and they want us to believe its true
That big hunk of metal looks like the shell of an old washing mashine
do you think there is gold in the black river MO. In Piedmont.
That thing was part of an old washing machine I think. That’s why it’s so heavy. Good job on the lead removal. Congrats on the picker and large cleanup!
Awesome find on that little creek 👍👍keep up the great videos and good luck in your search for the elusive golden nugget 👍👍

Nice score!!!! Thank you for getting the trash and lead out of the stream. I am new at prospecting and will have to research these crazy California laws before I go out.

Big nugget....but really not a big nugget. Proof a fella doesn't salt his pan for his vids! New subscriber!
Yes lad what a piece no need for the Mac to see that beautiful piece of gold hoping you find loads more 😎 thanks again (Ireland)
good thing that you are cleaning out the lead that the fishermen are putting in there, keep up the good work
Do you think there would be gold in creeks in South Texas? I don't think historically there has ever been glaciers here.

What would that be worth in the pan at the end of the video all up ?
I understand so much now from 3 of your videos alot of it is well said Def understandable now I wanna get gold today thanks great video I'm hooked
Hell yea dude love the sound of gold hitting the pan keep it up
yr heart is realy set on yr hobby, anything cab be beleivable brother, love yr show an congrats on yr nugget cavespring va

You seem to be exposed to lead a lot while panning. Are you concerned at all about that? Or are there any precaution measures you take?
I just try to take as much lead out as I pull out. Precautionary actions prior to doing so no I’ve been hikin creek waters since a little kid, if I were to get lead poisoning or something I would of gotten it lol I’m probably immune lol
Hey jeff, ever been fishing?
I remember when that moment happened to me!!!! The emotion is priceless, congrats, you just gave me that extra push to go back on the coming days to the placer that started it all for me. Thank you, and I'll send you the report when I get back.
Love it ! Can’t wait to hear back from you!!!
That was a ancient washing machine. Probably washed down with the glaciers. Laughing out Loud!
I’m glad your not just in it for the gold I’ve watched a few of your vids and you do help the local ecosystem by taking those toxic materials out thank you
That metal can you found is an internal drum from an old washing machine.
I hear ya.
Clean water act BS.
Great video and great gold. 👍🏻
PS you’re right, that lead was crazy! Like you were panning gun range back stop dirt.
Great job! So exciting to find gold as always😊💝
Use a classifier! Makes panning concentrates so much easier. You dont have to use anything fancy just a kitchen strainer will work if you dont have anything else. You can get more concentrate and more gold with less panning.
Oh trust me stay tuned for this next video lol
Stumbled upon your channel....this is so cool!
Nicely done man! A Missouri picker! What a nice golden smile in the pan! Based on that you’d never know you weren’t in a gold bearing area.
Please guide me to some spots in central Mo.
Do you ever find Civil War stuff while you pan through the creeks
do you ever weigh your gold? do you have a log of what weights you find each trip? have you ever sold it? Do you get market value? what mark off because it's not assayed? Wish I lived in gold country. I've never heard of a gold mine in new england area.
Love the way he thinks positively
Well dun buddy :-) and good luck on your next adventure in to the creek
Thank you for cleaning the creek I can't believe that much garbage 🗑️ in that small areas.

Good for you pal. Only way to find his little friends is to keep panning. Better moments to come for you. 😁

If you ever come to my neck of the woods you can prospect on my property brother
Cool bro,i cant wait to find my first piece yet. Must be a great feeling XD. Thnx for inspiring!
Your welcome and have fun!
May God bless you for your explanation in the beginning and your very ethical stewardship of our environment, THANK YOU!!!
What about mosquitoes? What do you do to get rid of them!
Where are you gold hunting? I’m south of Joplin, Missouri, just a few miles from Big and Little sugar creek.
That one was nice..good job and be careful out there..I’ll be lookin good by the end of the year 👍🏼
That's awesome. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing!!!
Kyle your video s are realistic sincere &all @what one has to do as happening great entertainment we’ll done best wishes to you &your prospecting
Great job dude. Nice clean up.love that picker 😎👍
Crack clean out, sounds like something I did with my kids whenever they were in diapers. got a love it happy hunting.

The big hunk of metal is the inside of an old fashion washing machine that had the hand crank cloths wringer on top. My grandma had one in her garden that didn’t work but still had everything on it lol
Just to add you should have used the Little Rock water fall where you moved the leaves as a gold wash. The divots would have worked great
Best editing I've seen on a video. Lol great video man
In what state are you mining? Just wondering, I'm from Virginia and we don't have much gold.
We are in Missouri
Gotcha, we'll keep up the work and I hope your on gold every time!
Haven't finished watching the whole video, but I am wondering what your daily haul would be in oz, and money in today's market. Keep up the good work...
That lead, was that civil war bulletts ? Pretty cool; be nice to find some gold in Indiana , great video thanks!
Just came across your channel. Awesome vid bro. Im here in Cailfornia. What region are you in? Keep up the hard work 💪😎
midwest and thank you !
Pretty certain that is the cutting deck of a lawn mower crudely folded. On a different note I knew I've been seeing particularly "golden" flakes here in the foothills of the blue ridge and the inspiration in these videos has got me making moves.
