@@StephCurryGSW thats the thing i didnt, for season 2 the only ep i watched was the fight with ryuuen, i basically skipped all of season 3. I only watched all of season 1 because i hadnt read the light novel at that time
@@jukoruiniscene in the LN during the Training Camp Arc of season 3 They're at the bathhouse and Ryuuen takes Ayanokoji's towel off to try and embarrass him Turns out he's packing like crazy So is Koenji, their sizes are comparable One of the characters comments "It's like a battle between two T-rexes..." I never read the LN but that's what I've heard, I've only seen the illustration of Ayanokoji and Koenji side-by-side (which is censored.)
Animation and artstyle was at least better then S2 and the reason why it was not still not completed because of the time and bad scheduling if you remember Lerche was busy fixing the animation on S2 BLU-RAY we all know how bad animation was there cause of COVID issues so they were busy fixing the Blu-Ray which was also delayed cause it was originally supposed to come in October (2022) only 1 month after last episode released but it got delayed till end of December and sonce it was put into 4 volumes they finished the BLU-RAY at the end of March and what did we got later announced the delay of S3 cause Lerche was so busy fixing all the bad issues on S2 animation they did not started any production for S3 not even drawing Key Visual's so yeah that was the whole reason for this delay of S3 like did KADOKAWA really thought you can just release 2 seasons in a spam of the one 1 year.

Watched this full show and I'm struggling to get into it. MC is hard for me to root for. Kei is great, some of the side characters are great. But it's hard to root for a MC that just treats everyone like pawns to use to his needs. Maybe he gets better but the entire time I'm watching Kei I'm just like no gtfo! She's adorable and I really her character so he annoys me.
For me, season 3 is such impprovement compare to season 2. Season 3 art and drawing is more consistent than previous season, yeah obviously S3 have eps 9 which have bad art style but season 2 have more episode with bad art style and drawing which they corrected in BD version. I like they little put effort on presentation, sometimes they remove opening or ending to extend duration and this season have 2 ending song, that little bit effort make me assumed this anime start taking seriously by the studio and make me optimistic if studio Lerche taking 2nd year adaptation. But i also realise it's not absolutely good anime adaption for COTE, it's always remind me of A Certain Magical Index anime which is hard to follow the story if you only watch the anime. COTE is type of story that is hard to adapt for short episode count. I think the future of Cote anime is bright compared to the days when we had to wait for season 2 which that period very uncertain we got new season, and i think, we'll not wait long for 2nd year anime. I hope for 2nd year anime to get Re Zero anime treatment which in my opinion the best light novel adaption. And another hope for 2nd year anime, which ever studio work next anime, please do not change character design, the current character design is resonate to the series for me.
If cote had 60% of the effort put into apothecary dairies or frieren it would be such a good anime
