- The Fullers are joined by their son on their 2nd trip to Nassau Bahamas. Join them as they explore Deck 11 of the Carnival Sunshine, Lukka Kairi Watefront Bar & Grill, and Princess Cays.
I love The Carnival Sunshine. My first time in Nassau, The Bahamas was great with my daughter. So glad you had an amazing day with Priceless. Those sandwiches looked delicious. Food allergies are the pits! But your fries looked delicious and filling too. Congratulations on the bingo winnings. $$$ The cabin with the 2nd bed made looks nice. Thanks so much for sharing. What month was this I see people have on jackets and hoodies?
@@traiysilyin9478 This was in April of 2023. The weather was nice (84 degrees). However, it rained very hard that day in port that day. That's why everyone had some type of covering. Thanks for watching. ❤️

We parked at the Port of Charleston. Parking at that time was $21 per day. Thanks for watching.

Such a cool vlog. We will be aboard Sunshine next month and I am extremely excited. Can you tell me what the port was like as far as going through security and such?
Hey @shalonfreeman. Thank you for checking us out. At the port of Charleston, be prepare for a long walk to the security building (depending on where they make you park). Security itself is easy. Faster than it was the 1st time we went. Not sure if you know, each person with you is allow to bring a 12 pack of can drinks. It must be an unopened 12 pack (they will check). what do you recommend about parking? I have two connecting rooms we both got faster to the fun, but I heard at this port you can't really park there earlier. People talk about going to a hotel and getting shuttles, but I haven't seen any place that seems to actually do that
That's what we do. If we fly in, we fly in a day early and get a hotel and then catch the shuttle from the hotel to the port. That is usually the best way to go about it. If you drive in, you will have to pay for parking each day at some hotel or parking garage which can get very expensive.
I couldn't seem to find a hotel that had a shuttle, or are you booking a shuttle seperate? So in my case we are a family of 5 with one of them being a toddler. My wife will not take any kind of uber/lyft, and I dont really like the idea of bringing a car seat which was why a shuttle usually can work, but maybe I'm looking at the wrong places. I dont mind parking and paying for parking at the terminal, but the way it seems is that maybe in this case a shuttle or drop off is better. I'm going again in may, but with two of my friends for a guys trip, so we will just uber in and its not a big deal for that one. @@afullerlifenow

Hello! Parked in the lot (at $21 per day). Took us about 45 minutes to get on the ship.
How far away is the nearest beach from port in Nassau ?
The nearest beach to the Nassau Port is right there at the Port which is: Junkanoo Beach. Hope this helps. 😀
