I don't think i ever experienced such enthusiasm seeing a new concept done in this game in all its lifespan, this is probably my new favorite level. That background is fucking sick
This level deserves to be in the base game somewhere hidden away as the ultimate challenge I just really like the TRUE nostalgic vibe this level brings, it feels like something that would be made by RobTop in an alternate timeline where GD never got any new blocks or gameplay elements and the only updates were RobTop making new harder levels

@@theairaccumulator7144yeah unfortunately a lot of the spike corner jumps are probably impossible on 60 fps, but who knows, maybe they got fixed already
@@Ceereeal I believe the spikes where you have to jump on the edge of them were negatively scaled and a smaller hitbox was overlayed on top, making the edge jumps significantly easier. The last parts of the level had the same treatment to make up for frame alignment issues one would have with practice mode or start positions. Mindcap also said that the level is 100% possible on 60Hz. When he said he wanted a list demon accessible by everyone, he really meant it. However, to compensate for the lack of higher refresh rate frame perfects, there are 91 60Hz frame perfects scattered throughout the level (compared to Acheron's around 60 frame perfects). However because it's such a long level a casual player with decent skill can do about 30-40 seconds of this level, which is basically unheard of in a list demon.
I can’t stop rewatching this level. It’s just so beautiful, it’s so GD and it goes beautifully with the song. This is one of the most immersive levels I’ve ever seen, and the way it embraces the original looks of the game that slowly got replaced by modern deco is simply a gorgeous sight, and with a dimrain47 banger no less!! It truly feels like a love letter to “the original gd”, which would be the pre 1.7-1.8 time, even if it has no gamemodes other than cube, and I think it’s such an amazing way to say goodbye to this huge-ass age 2.1 has represented for the game and a splendid way to celebrate GD10. I joined this game in early 1.9, but even then old levels that looked like this represented a much much bigger percentage of the total online levels and it just makes me emotional. Thank you so much to all of the team behind this for this piece of art.
I love how this is a level that could have been created in 1.0 (minus the background of course), it really feels like we’ve come full circle on something
Obj limit could be bypassed in early updates because copy+paste would work even if it went over the limit. Also xl were possible in 1.0 but the length didn't exist. You could keep building but no songs available in 1.0 would last that long.
It’s like shardscapes but it’s cube. Quite the level. Looks very fun to play. The song gives an early ng vibe, which is really cool and matches the level really well. You’ve done it again, mindcap, you’ve done it again
I swear to God, Mindcap just keeps pumping the best MCs this game has seen, with some of the best creators in the community. You're awesome for arranging these amazing levels and coordinating already great creators to make some of the most creative projects ever. Djoxy's background is hands down one of my top 5 favorite effects ever.
Mindcap: I’ve always dreamt about having a top demon accessible by everyone The top demon in question: contains tons of really difficult timings In all seriousness, the effect is really cool and I like the concept. It’s like The Impossible Game on steroids. It also reminds me a bit of Return 0.
It’s basically just 8 minutes of Michigan Temple Cube esque gameplay. Extremely difficult sure, but something definitely more feasable to the average dedicated player as opposed to Minuswave click spam and straight fly.

A few things to say -the wave part has some amazing gameplay! Even newer players might find it cool -the ufo part is way better than how literally any top demon makes their part -the ball part having a cool transition to swingcopter is really interesting -the spider part is awesome, because you never seem to see any spider gameplay in top demons, but even with the gamemodes bugs, it looks amazing -same with the robot part, why is it that no top demons use the robot, when it can have marder gameplay than the cube -i like the ship part

The background showing the gameplay ahead is a really nice touch that shows the effort put into this. Looks cool, and is an interesting concept.
Edit: the end wall going through all the backgrounds is amazing.
I don't think i ever experienced such enthusiasm seeing a new concept done in this game in all its lifespan, this is probably my new favorite level. That background is fucking sick
There was once a concept I thought which was the player traveling back and forth between the front and the background
@@Oyakinya-IzukiI thought of that too
@@Oyakinya-Izukithought of that idea too, even had multiple ideas for transitions, but never actually made it
This level deserves to be in the base game somewhere hidden away as the ultimate challenge
I just really like the TRUE nostalgic vibe this level brings, it feels like something that would be made by RobTop in an alternate timeline where GD never got any new blocks or gameplay elements and the only updates were RobTop making new harder levels
i get what you're saying but you gotta understand that a top level is Really Hard
this alone would be one of, if not THE single hardest vanilla challenge in a game ever by a mile, it wouldn't fit in at all
@@nwchef That's why I say hidden away. Not as a main level, not as anything that gives you any sort of icon that makes it mandatory for completionists, just a self-imposed challenge that puts your core understanding of barebones GD to the test, where your only reward is your own accomplishment
@@Gixin there isn't really a point in adding it if only like 10 people in the world are good enough to beat it right now
and even then, the difficulty gap between it and deadlocked is like the gap between chapter 1 of celeste and a grandmaster lobby map in strawberry jam
@Gixin What so like the Pit of Misery from Jtoh but even harder? (Well idk if ToRF is harder than Every End)
@@nwchef Think about it this way. If it’s hidden somewhere where you have to intentionally seek this level out and you’re not required to beat it to gain any collectible, it would just be really cool for it to be a level that is part of the game somewhere instead of just being on someone’s profile and there’d be 0 harm in including it

You can somewhat do it as a noob, unlike tight straightfly and 10 cps wave
@godzile9992 Yeah, frame perfect jumps, right, where as a lot of new players doing SM can barely make it over the triple spike.

Do you think someone is gonna sideread this? Its almost 7 minutes long, blindjumps dont matter cuz if you want to beat the level, you will practice those jumps
As someone who has beaten only one easy demon up to this point, this level gives me hope for beating something much harder without the need of months if not years of wave training or ship straight fly practice. Awesome job!
You'd need years of frame perfect training and a 360hz monitor instead. When this gets nerfed to be possible on 60hz I doubt it will be even top 50.
@@theairaccumulator7144yeah unfortunately a lot of the spike corner jumps are probably impossible on 60 fps, but who knows, maybe they got fixed already
@@theairaccumulator7144 icreate right now
@@Ceereeal I believe the spikes where you have to jump on the edge of them were negatively scaled and a smaller hitbox was overlayed on top, making the edge jumps significantly easier.

Well said.

Mindcap: I’ve always dreamt about having a top demon accessible by everyone
The top demon in question: contains tons of really difficult timings
In all seriousness, the effect is really cool and I like the concept. It’s like The Impossible Game on steroids. It also reminds me a bit of Return 0.

I've been a very big fan of idea of "F3hcs" and xo ofc but this is also very insane. Gameplay is so mesmerizing and I like that the ending gives you a moment to breathe, that it eases down gradually and ends with the iconic triple spike. Very well done
this is incredible. i've always wondered just how hard (and interesting) you could make a level that only used the most basic objects.... very, as it turns out! i love how there seem to be short branching paths in certain areas, it's always cool to find an unexpected way to get on top of an obstacle or something using very precise jumps and take a "secret path" for a few seconds
I really like how you made an only cube demon with parts which looks like ship part but are actually cube part. And the effect on the background in which you can see what’s coming, is also really nice

-the wave part has some amazing gameplay! Even newer players might find it cool
-the ufo part is way better than how literally any top demon makes their part
-the ball part having a cool transition to swingcopter is really interesting
-the spider part is awesome, because you never seem to see any spider gameplay in top demons, but even with the gamemodes bugs, it looks amazing
-same with the robot part, why is it that no top demons use the robot, when it can have marder gameplay than the cube
