I've looked at three 1991 Toyota Winnebago warriors that were for sale and all three had the dreaded delamination waves on the camper body in the area of the rear window. I notice yours has the exact same waves around the rear window as the others I looked at. Might be a common issue with this particular camper model leaking water around the back window. The left and right camper sides were all perfect with no waves. You got a very nice rig at a super price !
I can actually say I DID live in this camper and drove it from Pa. To Fla. several times and I absolutely loved it, would do it again but not able to walk now. So sad !!!
The only problem I see is the bed above the cab of the truck. I can see one adult being able to sleep there, provided the bed has enough support to handle the weight of the person who needs to sleep. But I don't see two adults being able to sleep. I think the bed is more for children up to age 10.
Lower the front torsion bar bolts, add a 3” front air dam. I added a Jet programmer and now 13.6 is the worst mileage I get. 19.2 has been the best with a tail wind.
@@malachihelenius1532 I did, and I put another $5k into it and then sold it after two years of traveling for $11k. Was super fun buying during a bubble.
I was thinking about buying one of those Toyota campers like that and living in it would it be possible to live in something like that for a long-term and are they any good and how bad of gas mileage do they get only reason I'm asking is because I was going to move into one of those instead of living in an apartment because my apartment is making me sick
do you have air bags and if not that's will help with the boat feel and the load to. we have the bags and I think its probable better than the air shook's?
I've never had the chance to drive a Toyota motorhome, let alone live in one. So I have no way of knowing what it's like. However, I would think that two adults could comfortably live in a Toyota based motorhome, provided that no one else, or nothing else, is also living in the motorhome.
Leon ended up living in the camper for about 2 years. He didnt swap over the axles. Only maintenance he ever did was put hard wood floors in it. And install a honda quiet generator. Otherwise it was an amazing vehicle.
@@thousanddollarcarguy Not too bad! I should have one of these of my own in a couple months. A 93 Winnebago Micro Mini Warrior. Can't wait to get to redoing the interior. What are your thoughts on upgrading the gas tank? Stock size is 17.2 gallons. A range of

You got a ridiculously good deal. I'm about to buy one for $15k after lots of looking and I'm pretty happy with that deal.
Hey did you do this?

I thought he said he paid $30,000 for it?
@@joeblow1942 Nobody is paying that for this Toyota motorhome. I just checked again, he said $3500 at 2:10.
31k miles!!? You stole that thing.

Ha! Great video! These guys are funny 🤣
Looking to buy a 1990 one. I love it and it looks amazing! Definitely something I wanna do so I can travel more and live off the grid
Why a 1990 in particular?
@@joeblow1942 that was the model of what was local to me within a mile range and condition. It sold tho so that never happened haha
The problem with a trailer, for me anyway, is the limited amount of water.

I’m looking at one right now. How do you recommend it 3 years later?
Should have never gotten rid of it. Literally an amazing machine that should not be under valued.
If you want to improve fuel economy, particularly given how expensive fuel is getting, I'd install a 2L-TE 2.4 litre Turbo Diesel engine.
when you guys decide to sell that Toyota let me know....
one slipped through my fingers by one day uuggg, now im searching daily!!
It just sold less than a week ago.
