your screen is different... I am using the web based app and trying to end my music on a slide but it's not pulling up the options that your interface has.
I have several questions. I hope you can please help me with this. What if I want the music to continue playing after the video? Is inserting a new audio the only way? If I use this way then I'll have to adjust and trim the audio which is quite troublesome haha. And what if I want to make the music still playing when the video plays but with a lower volume? Do I need to put a separate audio from the initial audio?
First the audio will play, then the video will slide and then the audio will stop. But the end of the video slide, the remaining part of the audio will play in the undefined slide or not? If it sounds like it would be better to give a video on it.
My problem with audio in Powerpoint is that I want to speak over a slide for an extended time with audio in the background, and/or narrate a slide with an embedded video that includes audio. Great. Powerpoint does that. What Powerpoint doesn't do (that I can find) is fade the music out when I click to transition to the next slide in the deck. It just cuts off the audio IMMEDIATELY. Meanwhile, my slide gracefully fades visibly from one slide to the next. It is SOOOO frustrating! It's even a deal breaker for me. Powerpoint is so good, but this one thing prevents me from using PP. My presentations are very dependent on video that I've created. PLEASE HELP if you think you have a solution to this, because the truth is that no other presentation software that I've tried solves this issue either. I feel like there MUST be a solution to hack this, but I'm at my whit's end. Thank you!

I appreciate your work Ramgopal, thanks, great work. I do have a challenge however with audio fading out. I have a track playing across 10 slides, each slide with 1 minute transition, but at times I advance the slides manually before the 1 minute is over. BUT when I get to the 10 - 11th slide (if I have advanced the slides before their 1 minute is over), and I click on the 11th slide, the music stops abruptly. How do I use the fade option in this scenario?
You may need to make your changes using Audacity and insert the audio track to the slides. Or make those slides into a video and mix the audio track using clip champ video editor. That's what comes to my mind now. Hope it helps.

You can select the audio. Go to Playback Tab. In Editing group -> use Fade Out option.

Each time I try to convert a p.p. file to Microsoft video it fails. The file is about 35 MB. Is there a way to overcome this problem.
Can you try that for a different file? Then you would know if there is a problem with PowerPoint or with the file.
