I’m not a nail tech yet but I do nails to practice and I tried the gel and it’s actually pretty easy if you take your time you should give it a try Ik you’ll learn really fast especially as a nail tech
I'm a beginner too! Do you want to share eachothers journey? 🥺 I sometimes feel so left out seeing everyone else being so advanced while i'm still a beginner
What a beautiful set! Those natural nails though, wow!!! 😍 I appreciate the transparency, and even though you're still getting the hang of hard gel application, you did such an amazing job and made it look effortless. 🙌 As a beginner, your advice is much appreciated! Thank You so much for sharing with us! btw, those mini acrylic beads?!! thee cutest! the flowers came out soo nice 🌼🌼when the top coat was applied over them, it was so satisfying to see. Beautiful work! 💞💞💞💞I'm so glad I came across your channel! 👍👍👍
Thank you so so much! I’m happy you’re here. Yes I’m getting back into the bag of hard gel, I used it in school a couple years ago and I loved it! I switched completely to hard gel and GelX as services 🥰
@@Baddlilthingz Ohh I see! That's awesome. Unfortunately for me, my school offered no hands training like I thought before investing, just textbook study for state exam but it's okay, I've been self teaching myself a lot through TH-cam. Lol, so Thank You!! I'm happy to be here!! (:
This is perfect 🎉🎉🎉🎉 pink matches her so well and that pinky finger was my favorite lol. I will keep watching your videos because they are so easy to follow. Last weekend I ended up doing my nails and they are still holding up. I used the foundation rubber base gel you kept raving about 😂😅 and girl it’s stuck on there ok. So glad I found your channel .
Thank you so much! Yes she always gets something cute on her pinky🥰 and I’m so glad it’s working for you!! It’s definitely a great product. I’m going to try to find some dupes that are more affordable and see if they hold up as well too!
So pretty! I never would have guessed that the hard gel you were using was from Saviland! I love all their products, I have their glitter gels, their bigger containers of glitter gel polish. I love them! Great set of nails, enjoyed the video! Can’t wait till next time! ❤🩵🩷💛🩷💙
I definitely felt the burnout part, its so hard running your passion as a business. its your baby lol you wanna make sure you thrive and build a great foundation to have a long lasting career, you are doing a great job, and your videos are awesome!! just subscribed cant wait for more videos!!!
You did an awesome job. I’m struggling with builder gel myself. Your words are encouraging, I stumbled across your video and it’s the real deal. Thank you so much😊
THANK YOU THANK YOU for mentioning that website. Earlier tonight I was trying to remember the 3 websites I used to purchase from years and years ago. This was the third.
Thank you for great advice. I am also a 3 month new nail tech and beat myself up cause i want the girls to get the bedt i can do, but need some more confidence. Good luck to you for your journey❤ ps. I am a new subscriber
Finish building pinky then cure and while that pinky is curing do the other hands pinky nail then cure and while that one is curing move to other hand and repeat steps
What light do you use to cure her gel? I have a light but it burns me too bad even with a thin layer of gel. Also, (you probably mentioned this in the video but I didn’t realize) do you cure each nail after you do it or the whole hand once you’re done?
I’m trying to figure out if I should start with gel. Poly gel. Or acrylic. I’m still working on my license. I passed theory but need to pass practical . We only learned acrylic in school. And I wanted to start practicing. What’s your recommendation? And I’m glad you decided to take time to do what you love! Beautiful work girl 🎉
Hey! In my opinion I truly love working with GelX. It’s so much quicker, has amazing retention, and is also very easy on you. I worked with acrylic only for about 3 years, I started having really bad wrist, hand, and arm cramps. Also I truly hated the maintenance of acrylic, removal, soaking off, the filing was very excessive. I really think GelX and hard gel, rubber base gels are better. But if I were you I would try all of them out even on yourself or friends to see what you like and what feels the most natural🩷
Do you need to use any liquid for the brush ? I’m a beginner nail tech nd I ran out of supplies as I’m going through life trauma atm but I still want to be able to do my nails
What about building the nail with soft builder gel and then adding a layer of hard gel on top for sturdiness?? I hate that the hard gel is file off only (I like taking my Nails off at home, and usually do my own nails for the past almost 10years but I pampered myself this year by going to a shop). And I just had some hard gel nails and I had to let go of my LONG NATURAL NAILS because the shop I went to (first time going to a shop that actually did builder gel nails with potted gel) but she screwed my shape up! I told her square & she did that but inward almost heading toward coffin. When my nails grew out it looked skinny at the top and then the wideness of my new growth made the nails look completely off kilter. I grew my nails since September mind you! So now I chucked it, & am starting over butttt I was going to go with hard gel entirely until this happened.
To be a beginner with gel you did a very beautiful job!! The only thing i do have to say is that the bit is throwing me off. You said its a fine grit but it has a blue dust ring which is medium, either your store sold you the wrong one or im assuming you put the saftey ring on yoursef. The fine color is red and xfine is yellow.
What brush are you using? I went to look for it on your supply list but there’s so much stuff. (Also sorry if you mentioned it in the vid.. I have to watch on mute)
I don’t see it either! I might have gotten this from my nail supply store. But the Diamond Bit Small barrel bit works the same and I love it! That one is under Basic Nail Necessities
I believe in this video I was using the Gelish Foundation gel. But I currently use a rubber base gel by Beautilux! I will be making some updated videos soon
10’s across the board…..this set looks phenomenal ❤

You’re super sweet and such an inspiration!! ❤❤
If we use full cover nails likw the btartbox ones what is the prep work to do before applying builder gel and after if we want to do some art
This is so nice
Hey which is the best hard gel brand in canada? which lasts for long
Very pretty well done 💖 Can I please ask where you got the brush from that you use for your acrylic 3d flowers?
I want to do nails that good.

Are you talking about liquid for the builder gel or to clean the brush
Do you bake the base gel and do you wet your brush when using the gel
Cute the base coat. And then go in with the builder gel. Always coat your brush with gel before!
What brand nail lamp do you use?
Do you dry the base coat before applying the slip layer?
Always cure your base coat! Then yes go in with the slip layer after(:
Pls do you use the same base coat and top coat for gel polish?

Can you tell me which uv lamp did you use to cure the hard gel? 248W with 60 LED beads?
How do you get your gel nails to last longer
Can you use acetone to clean up or just isopropyl alcohol?
What brand builder gel do you use
What system do you use if you don't mind me asking? What Base and what gel?
To be a beginner with gel you did a very beautiful job!! The only thing i do have to say is that the bit is throwing me off. Do you use a regular top coat or gel top coat? And great work btw❤
Hey love what did you use for primer? And what was the brand for base gel?
Last question what do you use to adhere crystals?
New sub here❤
Does your builder gel burns when u cure in the lamp
Can you tell me what brush you're using ?
Can you share the link for the bit used for surface smoothing?
Nice work dear❤ what is the name of the gel?
What brush are you using? I went to look for it on your supply list but there’s so much stuff. (Also sorry if you mentioned it in the vid.. I have to watch on mute)
Is base gel supposed to be cured? If it does it is okay if it’s still tacky or should it be cleaned?
If you’re referring to base coat yes you should cure.
If you’re referring to the first thin layer of hard/builder gel, it should not be cured.
So you didn’t have to flash cure ?
Thanks for the advice. Was about ready to quit lol
I didn't see the cuticle bit in your amazon store front. do you have a link
I don’t see it either! I might have gotten this from my nail supply store. But the Diamond Bit Small barrel bit works the same and I love it! That one is under Basic Nail Necessities
Actually I just found it! If you go back to it under Basic Nail Necessities it’s the tapered barrel set!

Where and brand is your nail drill do you use.
Did you cured the base gel
Do you know if the saviland builder gel is hema free
It does not say specifically. But it does say that it’s vegan and cruelty free. Also safe and non toxic, made from natural resin.
Which primer u use?
Am a nail tech but am allergic to all the gel stuff doctors told me to stop using them but what should do
Maybe just be careful and use gloves
What top coat are you using in this?
I have a refill bottle of the igel beauty no wipe top coat!
