    ......... Even when you are explaining it in slow motion, it sounds good. It also shows how complex some of your stuff is. There is a lot of stuff to absorb here. Thanks for taking the time to show us your techniques.

    Thank you so much for these tutorials!!! I love the sound you’ve achieved and I love even more that you’re willing to shed value by helping out smaller artists such as myself to get to where you are right now!!!

    Wow, this is gold 🪙, thanks for taking your time to share with us Walter, first time I'd learned the tips around the colors you can add depending on the position of the melody in the chord.

    Thanks a lot for this tutorial (and others). I like learning your thought process for chords and voicings. I love dissonant chords that resolve into the next chord.

    Nice video sir...... & can u hlp I get stuck in choosing ryt extended chord which going to work better with melody ...... in a simple C chord ...which extention to pick 6 or 7 / 9 /11 or 13 ...? I knw most of the shapes but don't knw where to use ryt extentions.........
    quick tip ?? Plz rply

    • @walterfingerstyle
      @walterfingerstyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Extensions are chord tones that are added above the 7th. If you just want to add a "color" to a C triad you can try a C(add9) which is basically a C triad with the 9th added to it. If you play a C chord (1st position) it would be C (5th string), E (4th string), G (open 3rd string), D (2nd string), and G (1st string).
