Thank you for sharing your thoughts and talent, I'm primarily a CHET ATKINS style of player and have played for 65 years, I really appreciate your great talent and am having a ball learning some of your guitar solos, your great talent is SOOOO refreshing. Thank you again for sharing your talent.
Sweet! Getting a look into the brain and thought process of arranging a tune for guitar! Excellent and eyeopening! Thank you Mr. R you are a blessing! Happy Easter (Resurrection Sunday)!😇
This is surely gold for someone that knows more harmony than me... for me it was just a pleasure to see how well he understands what he's playing. But for God's sake, play it complete at the end of the video! Thank you very much for this lesson!
I got each and every detail in this. Thank you for the lesson. You're just such a TASTY player. Ooh member going straight to the melody always re-harmonizing for that extra flavour. Thanks a ton!
This is so good! Thank you for the in depth explanation with a great example! I hope you will continue to share some more of your wonderful arrangements.
Great guidelines Mr. Walter Rodriguez, arangements use to be so complex but your a eyeopener bless your diverse logic and theory approach Thanks: A 🎵🎶 musical enthusiast! 🙏😇🙏😇
Thank you for this !! Without formal schooling in Music Theory, us "apers" can try to expand our wings a little bit by learning a seemingly mundane old song in a cool new way!! With this kind of styling a whole new song possibility opens-up "magically. I have saved this lesson and I will definitely tackle this one to "up-my-game". Love your playing style, I could listen to you all day, sir!!!
The only thing I could do, listening to you demo what you could do with that simple piece, was smile. Ah, the joys of exploration and discovery even in simple, unpretentious, oft taken for granted piece of music, in the hands of a Master.
I love Walter's intelligent approach, which (note well), doesn't mention "drop" chords, but instead decides exactly what inversion and voicing he wants. The use of "drop" chords becomes slavery to a fixed notion that is essentially not very musical. Instead, Walter exerts absolute control over what he wants by deciding the chord progressions based on musicality and the desired harmonic effect.
This is an excellent lesson! Thank you for takkng the time to make this. The narrative of what's going on is really helpful! Can you make a video playing the whole thing through?
Thank you for the lesson Walter, I am terrible at arranging even do I know many chords and different inversions, you opened up my eyes and mind to new possibilities.
Muy buena clase, muchas gracias por tus comentarios. I've got a humble request or suggestion, Could you play another tutorials with a guitar that has the dots into the fret arm please? To easy follow. Thank you in advance. Saludos desde Tijuana!
Vc não teria a partitura ou tablatura do arranjo de raindrops keep e how deep is your love? Um livro ? Um método? Pra vender ? Gosto dos seus arranjos mas não acho as tabs abraços aguardo

Great job Walter - as always. Love your arrangements. :) I play the Godin multiacc to, I notice that you have turned the eq faders way up. Interesting. Great sound.
so you can change the iii flat 7th to a dominant 7th chord that resolves home to the 1 CHORD OR MAJOR 7TH CHORD. all my wording makes it seem more difficult than it really is, i am sorry about that. a good lesson, thanks.
