- In this part of our Test The Best series, we compare three premium hatchbacks to see which one has the best A/C performance. The three cars included the new Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and the Tata Altroz. WIth summers here, we are sure this real world no-nonsense test will be of help to new car buyers

1. Ciaz
2. Compact sedans
3. Small hatchbacks (Tiago, i10, etc.)
I like this channel because they show what it is (unbiased). Many channels have now become biased, especially if is Indian brand they simply give them winner. Many watch to get correct information not to see Indian brand as winner even if it's not real time winner

amazing concept & implementation too. I really wanted to see this kind of comparison video. Good,keep it up. few suggestions -
1) I have felt that cruising on expressways at triple digit speed in hatchbacks(small engines) under the scorching summer sun, the AC sometimes becomes less effective. you could check that and tell me if I am right or wrong. if true then you can add it in you next similar video.
2) if possible make a comparison video for compact SUVs(nexon,creta/elevate etc.) & sedans(city,slavia etc.).
3) you can also compare cooling effectiveness of various ventilated seats too.
4) also declare rank 2 & 3.

this test is very great . carry this kind of test on other lower segments car and under 4 m suv's.
these test are so freaking important for regular buyers. We can’t gauge the AC performance during 10 minutes of test drive

Do rhis with new verna turbo and virtus GT as well, recently took the test drive of virtus and its ac performance i feel wasn't upto the mark
Tata's were always known for stellar AC performance. Be it with Nano's puny 660cc engine or upper segment cars.

Hi can you please tell what were the fans speed at final rev for front Ac vent for all three cars …I have seen that temperature is set to lowest but you didn’t mention fans speed later for all test ..if possible share fans speed to because I have this device and I have been checking it from 7-8 years for many cars for fans speed 2 and temperature set to lowest

Indian , Japanese and Korean provide the best ac’s , infact Mahindra and Tata have chiller ac’s , I have xuv500 and AC is chiller, the worst are ofcourse the European cars specially vw and Škoda
Koreans have the worst ac i20 performed worst. Vw skoda ka tata mahindra se bhi accha hai le dekh le. Mere pass polo virtus gt dono hai 5° jaata hai lowest mahindra tata ki aukaat b nhi utna jaane ki.. Koreans ka ac sbse bekaar hai ekdum kooda i20 verna creta venue saari gadiyo me ac issues hai cooling coil leakage in 3-4 years.

German cars have the best ac kabhi own krke dekhna fir bolna. Mahindra and tata is best among other manufacturers but germans k level k nhi h
@@luvpratapsingh2083why are you supporting German vw and Skoda brand of car and suv. Don't spread wrong information my friend. I have polo with me from last 13 years. My grand father is having vento and my friend is having vw jetta. Vw and Skoda is very poor in AC performance after 35 degree summer heat. So don't spread wrong information on emotion.

The readings of altroz are quite surprising.
Strange my I20 nline reach 5 degrees at idle in 45 degree chandigarh summer.
Only Hyundai hai VARIABLE typre compressor, it works according to external temp.

Still problem on both cars ac vents bcs minimum tamprature is for ac vents 3.5 to 6 digree celcius
I have been into all 3 cars and there is no issue of cooling in any of these cars. All have good ACs
Baleno compresser is small in 2023 model Ac performance is not gud

Make sure your cabin AC filter is new and not clogged as this will affect all those reading you are recording.
Yes. All car manufacturers were told it's an AC test and hence we are assuming they sent the cars post the filter cleaning / general service
Citeron c3 hatchback and c3 aircross is champion in AC cooling. Even Tata can't match it's cooling.
