Well I bought Baleno alpha (manual) for 10.60L On road (Uttarakhand). And i've studied many cars but i can firmly say that Baleno is best among them in this price range specifically. I have driven 3500km and the features which the car offers is very practical, it has auto dimmer, cruise, 360 camera which are very helpful. The point you said for vibrations, i personally didn't feel it. it has a very quiet cabin, yeah road noise is there slightly but if you are playing music then all will be fine. Drive quality is one of the best, i have driven 550km straight and i didn't feel any uncomforting trait. It has a reasonable price. only thing which i feel is missing is TPMS other than that it is the best hatchback. About the safety, definitely tata is better but in the end it all comes to your driving sense and concentration. Drive carefully and you will be fine it is not that bad. I'm happy with my choice, music quality is good, seat is good. steering is a bit soft that's why it feels a little less confident but it is also good for long drives you won't feel tiredness very soon. although the max speed i have attained is 140km/h. and i can say that it is not safe to drive this much fast but till 120 you will be fine. Altroz is so damn practical, it hits the right spot! Except for the fact that it cannot compete with refinement in Maruti otherwise super duper hit! (This comes from a Maruti guy) But this time it hit it!
I have driven 3 crs in this segment before finally settling with one (Baleno, Altroz, i20) also Kiger and Magnite, but let's stick to the Hatchbacks. It's useless to compare these cars and moronic to fight amongst ourselves. All these cars has It's own benefits and downsides. Finally, it boils down to what you need the car for. I'm just going to share my experience with these car 1. Performance/engine refinements, for me i20, takes these categories, but Baleno isn't much behind either. Altroz engine is though good, but a little "laggie" also refinement is an issue with this one. 2. Design, I tried i20 N line and boy it blows the other 2 out of the water! Interior and exterior. Some would say new Baleno is nice looking, especially Interior has been improved a lot. But still i20 hands-down the winner. Some would choose Altroz's design, but some people have poor taste. Not their fault. 3. Safety is where the Altroz thrives, i20 needs to improve here. And Baleno is probably the worst given it's weight and Maruti being notorious for its poor build quality. 4. Mailage is Baleno's forte. There's no compilation here. Altroz is decent, but i20 is just the worst. 5. Value for money: Here, Baleno and Altroz give each other a tough competition. Altroz is a solid car but Tata's after sales is a hit and miss. I20 on the other hand, is a bit overpriced. To sum it up, it's your unique situation that would decide which one's gonna be best for you.
I own a baleno 2022. One of the most wonderful car I have ever seen. Gives the most premium car feeling in just 11 lakhs. Most value for money cars. Comfort of the car is on another level and long feautuers list 🔥🔥🔥💥💥

well done Motoroctane.. you have done it again.. we love your maha comparison series. i watched the first comparison of these car and considered i20 turbo petrol asta... i got everything except sunroof in just 10.75 lakhs... which i feel is good... the turbo engine is really punchy and silent.. all features except sunroof and traction control... Thankyou
Now in 2022 Asta variant itself they are providing sunroof and cruise control, but with the 8.0" touchscreen instead of 10.25" and without the Bluelink features.
@@anonymous-ps3uh I too thought the same and had already booked Altroz XZ+. But after experiencing the space and comfort of I20 in real, I think its worth the price. In Asta(O) we get all the features of a 14-15lac SUV in a smaller (yet spacious) package. ESP, TCS, Hill-Assist, 6-airbags, Sunroof, highly refined 1.2L engine, smooth driving experience, silent cabin, 10.25 HD touchscreen + Bose music with a subwoofer. Its actually VFM unless you need an SUV. And all compact SUVs are just raised hatchback only with no real value/comfort addition. Only for the sake of SUV people are running after these compact SUVs with design compromises.

@@arbit_rabbit Its been good so far. As Rachit correctly said that Altroz does not have the greatest engine, to which i completely agree, TATA has to work on refinement. Also the after sales service needs to improve. But rest everything is so perfect. Design, Mileage, features, handling at high speeds, ride quality and most importantly the build quality.
@@TheDownToEarthPerson1425 On steering I dont feel much vibrations but the gears and arm rest vibrate to some extent when standing still. Even rear floor does not vibrate at all in my car.
I own Altroz and I feel all the 3 cars are best in their respective areas. There is healthy competition in premium hatchback segment and this is the reason companies are giving more n more features, which is always good for consumers like us. Lets not say bad things about other cars, all the 3 are pioneers and deserve good respect. :-)

Honestly none of them is 'PERFECT' or 'BEST'. Rachit has already explained all the features in this video, you just need to see which one fits your requirements to the most. :-)
As Rachit once said, you can add aftermarket features but never the safety. That proved to be the decision maker for me. Bought the Altroz back in January, and have been very happy with it. The showroom and service experience with TATA has been impressive as well.
@@sumitsambhalega a year on, Altroz has been a great purchase for me. The car has a plush ride and cabin noise is min in the city. On the highway, its very stable and planted. i20 has a sportier nature comparatively, if you're going for that.
One thing I like most about altroz is side indicators which are not embedded in side mirrors...so that in case of any side accident the customer can easily replace cheaper side mirrors without indicator cost
Yes. Recent I did mumbai - pune trip in Baleno by old road . In ghat section, there was traffic jam. altroz in front of me was struggling on steep climb, where as Baleno was climbing with ease.
Service be bhai . If your baleno stops in jungle will maurti can fix your car in max 1 day parts available cross India . Try that with Altroz and i20 you will regret most of these comparisons doesn’t mention the service for long drives for other states
@@shoumodey I think you should say 4 star in gncap because Baleno had stable bodyshell and footwell area in Latin ncap and we have seen every car that has stable body shell and footwell area scored 4 stars or above in gncap
What's the use of build quality when the car have so many issues. I bought a ask altroz i turbo and in 13 months they have replaced 3 ecus , 1 alternator , 1 wiring harness. Car in at the svc as i am typing this.

Hey Motoroctane, if you are going to talk about paint quality, please use a device like a paint thickness gauge and get the actual thickness. Just because it looks good, doesn't necessarily mean it is good. You are a large channel, please invest in quality. Right now, what you are describing is not paint quality. It is "color and glossiness."
Baleno easily gives 17-18 km/hr of milenge in city in petrol, which makes him value for money from other 2 cars for budget centric customers. Where as those who need premium and upper class standard and budget is not issue then definitely i20 it is. I personally never recommend a 3 cylinder petrol engine Altroz for long run. It's very rare to buy a diesel ingine in hatchback so, not a grt win for Altroz.
I20 diesel gives 27 kms/L in highways 16 kms/L in city both with ac on drive quality is high class . Suspension and breaking is the best. engine is smooth as butter. Turbocharger with 1.5 Mt diesel engine is epic in the hatchback segment
I have a 1st gen xcent diesel which gives 23+ mileage when I drive at 110-120 speed with AC. HYUNDAI diesel engines are good. It's 8 years old and has clocked 1.1 lakh km.
Maruti : lowest saftey, high resell, highest average, lowest features Tata : high safety, 3 cylinder unrefined bad engine, lowest avrage, midium features. i20 : best look, highest features, midium average, high resell, midium safety. In short i20 is all in 1.
It feels you have some sort of soft corner for altroz!! Mostly supporting to buy altroz.!! i 20 offers the most features for its price. Build quality and fit and finish of i20 is really top notch. Worth to note Baleno and i 20 engine is superb refined and feels peppy. Altroz lags it.

My cousin owns Altroz (60,000km), he fed up with it- TATA poor service, Altroz engine noise high which can be heard inside the cabin-after some kilometers of run,noise increase (i20,baleno are silent compared to Altroz), spare parts price is high, Altroz engine is not refined and at lower rpm vibration occurs ,even the touch system in Altroz is not much responsive as i20.People are going behind ncap rating of Altroz, actually it only have ncap rating....rest of all👎👎 TATA must solve these issues....otherwise they will loss customers Now my cousin is going to sell it.Planning for i20 sports 2021. child and adult occupant scores of i20 & altroz i20- 45.73/66 Altroz- 45.13/66 both are almost similar, so he fixed i20

Hyundai I20 hits all the right spots. 3 star gncap rating, 4 cylinder performance engine, stylish exterior/good interior and nice features for its price.
Maruti Suzuki cars are the best in india because it has high resale value, low maintenance cost, easily availability of spare parts everywhere in india , low mileage as 60-70%of indian family are middle class family. Correct me if my points are wrong
Did wanted to choose Altroz , but finally opted i20. Reason was extremely bad experience with two dealerships in my area, very unprofessional staff and pricing policy of company kind of discouraged me (two times price hiked in two months, since I started my research for car).
Except stronger bodyshell, Altroz has nothing new to offer, in fact peace of mind may hit a roadblock if you purchase a Tata car. I have experienced bad quality control in an acquaintance's brand new Nexon.

Fantastic unbiased comparison of all aspects, This is the type of review customers need. Kudos. Will be helpful if available in all languages including English. Perhaps you forgot to add how do these three companies offer service, how prompt, how expensive, how reliable, intime delivery, etc. Pl include service aspect in detail in another video, because ultimately it is the service which counts in addition to the product. And overall assessment should be based on throughput and not output alone.

Also, want to highlight here from your what's app help consultancy regards to choosing the right car, I got the wrong information regards to my budget car. i.e top variant of the baleon suggestion given to me in the budget range of 7.50 Lakh.

What's the use of build quality when the car have so many issues. I bought a ask altroz i turbo and in 13 months they have replaced 3 ecus , 1 alternator , 1 wiring harness. Car in at the svc as i am typing this.

Baleno easily gives 17-18 km/hr of milenge in city in petrol, which makes him value for money from other 2 cars for budget centric customers. Where as those who need premium and upper class standard and budget is not issue then definitely i20 it is. I personally never recommend a 3 cylinder petrol engine Altroz for long run. It's very rare to buy a diesel ingine in hatchback so, not a grt win for Altroz.

It feels you have some sort of soft corner for altroz!! Mostly supporting to buy altroz.!! i 20 offers the most features for its price. Build quality and fit and finish of i20 is really top notch. Worth to note Baleno and i 20 engine is superb refined and feels peppy. Altroz lags it.

TATA poor service,
Altroz engine noise high which can be heard inside the cabin-after some kilometers of run,noise increase (i20,baleno are silent compared to Altroz),
spare parts price is high, Altroz engine is not refined and at lower rpm vibration occurs ,even the touch system in Altroz is not much responsive as i20.People are going behind ncap rating of Altroz, actually it only have ncap rating....rest of all👎👎

Maruti Suzuki cars are the best in india because it has high resale value, low maintenance cost, easily availability of spare parts everywhere in india , low mileage as 60-70%of indian family are middle class family.

Did wanted to choose Altroz , but finally opted i20.
Reason was extremely bad experience with two dealerships in my area, very unprofessional staff and pricing policy of company kind of discouraged me (two times price hiked in two months, since I started my research for car).

Except stronger bodyshell, Altroz has nothing new to offer, in fact peace of mind may hit a roadblock if you purchase a Tata car. I have experienced bad quality control in an acquaintance's brand new Nexon.

Perhaps you forgot to add how do these three companies offer service, how prompt, how expensive, how reliable, intime delivery, etc. Pl include service aspect in detail in another video, because ultimately it is the service which counts in addition to the product. And overall assessment should be based on throughput and not output alone.
