@stephenelliott-wright3230 cheers mate. I was looking forward to getting this done. I'm going to have a few easy rides come the nice weather. Final polish and stored away in the personal collection 👍
Wait until you see the finished bike at the end. dad 🤣 also just watched your last video but could not leave a comment, so I liked the comments other than the two weirdo's at the bottom 😆
That's a humdinger. If someone had rocked up to the playground of Milnthorpe Primary School on that in 1992 they'd have got major kudos. "How many gears has it got?" (Always the first question lol). "21 whoa coooool" 😅 That's definitely one of my favourite builds you've done so far, partly for pure nostalgia and partly cos you polished it to such a great finish. Also black LX for the win, again. Love the pedal reveal late on. I reckon some 1.9inch tanwalls would complete that bike, if you could find them. Retfurb is a good channel for saddle restorations. He's done three in the last month or so. Link: th-cam.com/video/BEhE1qWFtPA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bBlGocyCjeTpkQvS
100% best comment so far. I love the top bit, I reckon I could get kudos pulling up on it now. I'm definitely going to check out the saddle refurb guy as it's something that I have not really done yet 👍
its a masterpiece congrats
Thank you, mate. It definitely turned out great 👍
That came up sweet as I love cleaning parts. Nothing better then starting with nice parts and accessories
@@Willdlans usually I like to get everything all set out and ready and then enjoy putting everything together 👍
So enjoyable to see proper cleaning!
Cheers, mate. It is such a pain to set up the ultrasonic cleaner and is very noisy. Had to clean and polish old school on this one 👌
Bones loves the blue hat
Bones, what are you doing hanging around on this channel 👀
I love your attention to detail. I'm watching this before I go out for a ride. That raleigh put my new bike to shame!
Cheers mate 👍 hope you enjoy your ride. What bike do you have?
@BikeShedBoy I have a new ish trek marlin. It is not great, and I had to take it back to the shop many times.
Beautiful work and you spiced up things nicely with risking all with that tea tray.
I know mate, the wife even checked to make sure I did not scratch it 🤣
Caught the short video you posted earlier today of the finished product, now to see how you got there. Thanks for posting
It definitely took some effort getting the restoration looking not far from new mate thumbs 👍
Your videos give me hope working on my current build. Just stuck waiting for parts at the moment 😔
@NeatSix Waiting for parts is the worst bit. But it's great when it all comes together, mate 👍
Absolutely gorgeous, well done mate.
I think k I will have the other one powder coated yellow with new purple decals and refurb close to factory speck sometime next year 👍
@@BikeShedBoy I look forward to it.
@sandmanmtb4life I do definitely feel that this next peak needs to be one of a kind 😎. Cheers mate 👍
Another stunner!!
Absolutely perfect bike👌
Cheers, mate, on to the next 👍
Great job 👌🏻
Well done 👍🏻

I have an '89 Peak bought in America. Technium frame with wishbone rear seatstay. Straight blade front fork. Full XT.
Wow, I bet that is one sexy bike indeed 😍, if you have Instagram, send me a photo, and I would love to see it, mate 😀 👍
Looks like you're going to be busy with those two

Child labor…..brilliant!
Only way way mate, they have to learn 🤣 he did do a good job as usual 👍
Have you ever came across a Repco Ranger.
@Willdlans No mate, not that brand, but I'll go and Google it now 😉
They are off-road cruiser from the early 80s. Basically, pre mountain bike from Repco
@Willdlans yea, I've just been checking out the hot rods, mate 👌 I'll keep an eye out for one for my collection 👍
@@BikeShedBoy I just pick one up i sent some some pic
@@Willdlans I'll go have a look 👍
did you know that all shimano components are stamped with a code will help you identify year
Yea, mate. they are usually 2 letters. If I remember, the first letter is for the year and second the month 🤔 or maybe the other way round.
@@BikeShedBoy I have a chart somewhere will send it if I can
@boxhampton mate, that would be cool. You can find me on Instagram same name 👍
@@BikeShedBoy OK got a m8 to send it I'm not on Instagram
