When applying for Professional Engineer license, the provincial governing body such as PEO and APEGA will perform an individual assessment of your education to see if you qualify. CEAB stands for Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. Presently, no Master degree programs in Canada are CEAB accredited. It is not as simple as matching your 4-yr Filipino Bachelor degree with Canada's 4-yr Bachelor degree.
That is totally correct! Same is true with Certified Public Accountants, we will undergo a CPA evaluation to identify any lacking requirements. That's the sad truth, even if you finished a four year bachelor's degree in your home country, Canada might not view it as 4 years bachelor. Worst, they might say it's just a 2 year diploma in Canadian standards.
Not sure if this is always the case. I thought SPA's validity ceases once the transaction is over, death of one of the parties, or when one party terminares or revokes it via a revocation letter. Not 100% sure tho. But my SPA in the PH is still valid as of the moment :)

Hello! I’m planning to apply in a College in Manitoba but slots were quickly filled for the 2 year diploma so I opted for a 1yr certificate. In line with this, may I know if it’s okay to apply for a student permit again after my PGWP expires so that I can study again while applying for a PR?

@@angelagracefelipe8938 after grad, you will apply for PGWP which is an open work permit. Then you can start working after that. For CEC you will need 1 year canadian work exp :) for other PNPs, a job offer will suffice.

Yea per province talaga ang checking ng reqs. Iba iba sila ng policy hehehe

The problem with SPA dito sa Pinas is until end of the year lang effectivity. You can find the date sa stamp ng Notaryo.

Yes you can apply for a study permit again while you are on PGWP. However, you can no longer apply for another PGWP.
