Ive got a 2jz ge and id love to go 2jz ge-t (na-t) just to get a bit of extra power and the sound. The car is a mark 2 jzx110 and ive got a 74 mk2 corona with a full chaser restomod. Again yea injectors are on the list, thinking of upgrading the piston rod and pistons themselves but i dont wanna go for loads of boost. Max 320 bhp would be more than ideal for my needs. Got stock shocks rn but ive got adjustable sports coil overs too just laying around. Now the head gasket needs swap from what i read online in forums. I genuinely dont know beyond that point. Oh yea uograding the fuel pump to a walbro as well
thats a good start. HG for sure needs changed. Stock they are .4mm. a sheet of paper haha GE ecu's have a massive ignition spike around 4k rpm and this is generally where na-t cars try to detonate and torch the HG
Note something you may have not gone in to detail for, 2jz ge non vvti same pistons and rods as a gte, 2jz ge vvti have weaker pistons and rods than those 2^
Thanks so much, you really helped break it down to make it less intimidating.
Im glad it helped, thanks for watching
Brilliant video as always mate, when you get a minute have a look at my mk3 7mgte, it's nearly ready to race. Thanks.
You bet
I'm still on the fence on putting the 2JZ in. I want to just do a basic na-t with my 7m electrics (i have a 90 turbo)
The 7m is making a come back. Stick to it. Its every bit as capable and thats all coming out now.

Good Point
I just snagged a gte twin turbo for my gs was wondering if it would bolt up to the GE
no sir, different head. Get a GTE head and your ready to rock
Any idea how much the NA pistons can take?
4-500 no problem with good fuel and tuning
400 max and thats pushing it on the ge rods and pistons
