I am not vegan anymore but I do appreciate all your recipes. They have helped me stay healthy and to give a twist to my meals. After being told by my doctor to start eating meat again because my body was just not getting enough nutrients due to my disesase and medication changes, I struggled to incorporare meat. Understandable after 8 years of being vegan. Anyway, thank you for helping us stay healthy. Your channel literally saved my meals.

@@cookingforpeanutshi, can I roast these on baking paper instead of using oil? And would the dressing turn out more or less the same if I don't use oil?
Looks so good! I now mix garlic, spinach, broccoli, carrots, tumeric, zucchini, and yellow squash and water with olive oil in my blender for a nice green puree. I use this as a spread. Great way to get my greens inon the run 😉
@IcedMachiatto Oh yes! Please let us know. I feel like when the cruciferous stuff is cooked even a little bit that my system absorbs and digests it more easily.

If she’s using oils, all types of oils are highly processed and cause inflammation. For more information on this I highly recommend watching the physicians committee and doctor Neal Barnard
That’s not true at all. Would you say that a DHA supplement causes inflammation, because it’s a processed oil? Where is the evidence for that? Anyone can quote a dude or group of people on the internet with all kinds of opinions. Just because someone claims oils are unhealthy, or meat cures whatever ailment, doesn’t mean it’s true. I would love to see a robust amount of papers that suggest, that all oils cause inflammation and should therefore be avoided.
@@marckorhammer There are tons of evidence on this, do your deep research and you’ll find the truth. I can tell you this is so true by my own experience as well, at first I was skeptical until it changed my life forever and now I feel better than in my 20’s and all the medications I used to take which doctors said I would continue to take for the rest of my life was all lies. I no longer take any of those medications and all thanks to changing the way I eat. I wouldn’t change my new lifestyle for anything.

@@RioGirl16 I'm 62 and vegan for 7 years, like I said. Wasn't born yesterday. Ate animal products for many years so I know all about what animal products can do. I also was a caregiver for 17 years to my elderly parents and my grandmother. My father needed leg bypass surgery at age 62 due to a clogged leg artery. At 72, my father went missing for 4 days in 1992. When he was found, he had had a major stroke, with 5 other smaller strokes that had gone undetected until then when he had an MRI. He suffered 2 more strokes and passed at age 78 from a massive stroke. My mother suffered congestive heart failure and passed from complications from open heart surgery at age 80. My grandmother suffered TIAs, was constantly falling as a result, and passed at age 92. None of them were overweight. But they all had one thing in common: they all had high blood pressure from arteriosclerosis. They all took high blood pressure medication from about age 40 onward until their deaths. Arteriosclerosis (clogged arteries) is directly related to animal fats and protein building up in the arteries over time. By age 50, most people will begin to feel the effects of consuming animals: high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, etc. Sorry, but you are younger than I am and have not experienced what I have. I am a witness to what consuming "meat" can do to a person long-term. People in their teens, 20s, and 30s can get away with consuming animals because animal fats and proteins have not yet built up in their arteries sufficiently to cause problems. But over time, health problems are exactly the result. I'd rather eat more ingredients to meet my nutritional needs. Eating meat might seem like a shortcut but it really isn't. In the long run, arteries will pay a heavy price.
So glad that I found your channel. I made the lettuce/kale/cucumber/pinto beans/ black beans/orange bell pepper/boiled eggs with avocado and creamy lime jalapeno dressing. It's Sooo good. Got the dressing from Target.
