BMW is known to be downplaying their posted engine specs, the stock M4 posted at 473 on the base M4 but it actually measured 547 on the dyno. M4 is twin turbo inline 6, so yeah. Top end will definitely be better, not to mention the competition model with the xdrive, would go even better. Not to mention M4 F82's that can even beat hellcats.

Pushrod v8 in camaro...old technology that is ancient and that 3.0l in bmw has turbos. Gearing is a factor...where the vehicles make there peak power on tach and for how long..and I bet that m4 weighs 200-300 pounds less than that chevy.
