Hey guys I’m the zl1 owner Cars suspension was set up for concrete Texas streets, the traction on the asphalt was so bad we had to start in 4th instead of 3rd and pulled 200whp out until 100mph, and I spun till 130 in the last race. First time I let out because of a 18 wheeler, 2nd time the car went sideways 3rd time I stayed in it and spun til 130 Mclaren is very fast car but on a concrete road it would’ve been a different result

@@yousef.al-assaf When you have such huge tires and such meaty torque compared with 720S, that still makes the SS kind f weak. What I feel aided the win for the 720S is its engine speed.. The fpc motor means it revs to 8000 and revs much faster than the OHV setup of the Camaro. Add to it the insanely fast DCT that swaps ratios instantly to keep motor boiling at 6000 rpms average. There s no point talking against the LT4. McLaren is perfection. Regardless of price they created a monster. I ve seen ZR1s with 1100 whp beating 1000 hp 720S. At that level sure the big V8s always will ve the advantage that too in a ZR1 only.. I ve seen very few US V8s beating 720S. And they too do that only when cranked north of 1000 whp. Mikes Streetspeed717 ZR1 is 1 such car..
If they kept going that camaro may have pulled on the 720 last race looked mad close. Whats interesting is that white vette zr1 with just about the same exact mods but on c16 gets blown away by this 720 and its probably around the same weight as the camaro. That tells me the zl1s 10spd auto and his tune must be better then the zr1s for sure.
I was thinking the same exact thing!! The 720 pulled that ZO6 hard, I was expecting the same with this Camaro. The 8 speed in the Z is Junk, impressive Camaro for sure!
Auto Glory you should legit put on a show and rent out a local track to you guys that can cover dig & roll racing and all of your past cars thats available attend as well. Huge meet and greet + no traffic getting in the way.

For all the internet warriors without cars this comment is for you. That Camaro is on a drag setup and roll racing not an efficient combo at all. Putting the stock wheels back on the front will reduce front end lift and make the race far more competitive. In addition he is on a full drag radial in the rear which is intended for use on a track with track prep applied to the ground. He had enough power just the wrong setup for roll racing.

This car is making more tq, has a 10 speed auto, and is dialed in better with the tuning. The z06 needs to be dialed in more.
