My 2x Great Grand father Dan Laguenesse Provided the beef for the men building the railroad . He got the beef up on the Flathead reservation took to Superior to butcher & then to the camp at Taft. Also ran a bar in Saltease.
That's awesome! One of the great bonuses of these videos is I get to hear stories like this..taft was a pretty wild place back in the day
I was wondering if you could drive that section. My wife and I are planning a trip out there.
Ya I gotta finished editing the video from avery to st maries, that was a fun drive.
What railroad do you work for.
I don't, but I do on occasion build their bridges.
