Another wonderful restaurant quality curry. Nice one Chef. WoW I can now cook chicken tikka masala as good as my local BIR. Im slowly working my way through your videos and everyone has been superb
My brother Scott told me to try your channel and I went for this one pot chicken tikka masala. Made it twice now with your tandoori chicken and got to say it's amazing 👍👍got to try the dhansak or patia next but like this one so much it will be hard not to repeat it, absolutely delicious. Thanks chef Din. Keep up the good work 👍👍
Hi lee , you will enjoy all my curries, now you decide which one to cook!! Remember to take photos and post your opinions on Facebook so others can enjoy my recipes and find my channel!
Looks stunning Din!!!!!! I've not been making any curries past 6 months as can't have hardly any fat in my diet but this I will try as a treat as some point in the very near future.
Made this on Saturday and I have to say it was superb Din 👌🏻 The only thing I would say is that it may have been easier to follow had the measurements been in teaspoons / tablespoons. I found it a bit of a hassle to measure on the scales. But none the less we really enjoyed it. Good work! 👍🏻
I glad you enjoyed my recipe! I used to do measurements in teaspoons , but the problem there is that everyones teaspoon is a different size , for this reason I started to measure in grams which is 100% accurate ,I had to buy one myself on Amzon to get it just right ,I recommend you buy one it will be well used specially if you’re cooking my recipes!!
Hi Chef Just made this tonight very tasty curry. I am big of your One pots . I used up my last base gravy supply over a month ago. I just keep coming back to your one pot recipes and having a hungry family of four they just work . I might of missed it chef but do you have a tandoori lamb chop recipe?
You can use my chicken tikka recipe to marinate lamb chops and normally you would add red food colouring! Cook under the grill Then if you want to cook in a masala sause use my chicken tikka masala recipe and add the chops instead of chicken tikka! Enjoy
I'll give you 10/10 for picking out the cardamons so quickly chef! These days I put cardamoms, and cloves in a small muslin bag, smash them down and in they go. In the past, I've more time picking them out than cooking the meal😫😅😅 Love this method chef, looks awsome😍👍
Funny you say that when I used to cook the large pots of base gravy, we used to to put all the cardamom, bay leave etc in a pot with 3 litres of water, put that on the boil for an hour or so, and save that water into the base gravy !! While other chefs just put everything in the base gravy and blend everything together, then you see little black specks in your gravy !!
Hi Din , love your channel just started cooking curry at home and cant stop, could you tell me if I was cooking for eight people would I simply double all the spices or would that be over powering many thanks
Online from a catering company, I bought them to last me a life time!! The make is called BOURGEAT they are made in France 🇫🇷 they are well worth the money,
@@Kal_UpTheBoro yes ! You can use any pot to cook curries, TH-cam has brainwashed people to think that you have to use aluminium, one of the reason they use aluminium in Resturant’s is because it’s cheaper, I used to use aluminium in my restaurant and stainless steel to cook the curries!!
@@ChefDin haha definitely, I much prefer to use cast iron or stainless steel too. I do have a few aluminium pans if I am needing to knock up a few curries as they’re low on cost to buy as you say, but certainly worth splashing out more for stainless steel if not for anything else just the scraping alone is avoided, that scraping sound on aluminium goes right through me 😂 doesn’t sound anywhere near as bad on stainless steel that’s for sure. So will certainly look into this particular brand you mentioned, thank you. 👍
Making this again chef Din. Its absolutely lush. far better than our local takeaway. Thanks again.
I’m glad you’re enjoying and saving money cooking better at home!
This chicken tikka masla is super fantastic flavour the family love it. Thanks Din for the recipe
You’re very welcome, I’m glad you and your family enjoyed it!

I understand Din. No problem at all really. It was just because I am used to the teaspoon / tablespoon measurement. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Great video, can’t wait to get the ingredients to try this, where did you get the pan from?

@@ChefDin brilliant thank you for taking the time to respond. I will have a look. 👍
@@ChefDin I am assuming they’re stainless steel?

HMMM, I think many traditional, MILD tikka massala ,lovers wont like this.
It’s very simple Daley , I would suggest you leave out the 🌶️ chillies if you want it very mild , that the beauty when you cook yourself!!
