I was 17 when jackass 3 came out along with this song. It really did feel like the end of an era especially since shows like wildboyz, viva la bam, and jackass had been off the air for a couple years and the popularity of skateboarding had declined. This song just captured the essence and time of the 2000’s and how much we’ve gotten older and how things changed over the period of 2000-2010. Im currently 28 and yeah growing up sucks however I’ll always cherish that time period of my life. Much love guys!

Tbh jackass 3 will always be the real ending to jackass. Jackass 4 just seems like a flashback to what the legacy of jackass was. Next generations will never know how crazy, badass, wild, and awesome these guys were in their prime. They made content that costed their body and pain and so much more. These guys will never be matched and no matter who tries to replace them it will never be the same. These guys are legitimate jackasses

Takes me back to being a kid watching Jackass late at night. Takes me back to being older and playing Halo with friends till 3 in the morning on a school night. Takes me back to even older and getting high with friends and having the best time of our lives doing nothing.

This hits me so hard. When Jackass first aired in 2000, I was an impressionable 15 year old, and these lunatics became my heroes. I’ve been with them every step of the way since…through the movies, the game, the spin-offs, Random Hero’s death (one of the hardest celebrity deaths for me). I’m now almost 37 years old. Much older, a little wiser, I’ve been through a ton of terrible stuff, a bit of good stuff..but this song brings a tear to my eye every time. I miss my youth so much. You blink and it’s gone. Cherish those days kids, you won’t realise how good they were until they’re gone.

I have a photograph hanging in my study of my 3 best friends and I on a ski trip after we all graduated college. Lost one in a car crash, one in a plane crash and one to cancer. I remember people used to say highschool is the best years of your life. I dont agree that the school was the best part, but being out by 3 30, and having a full day to enjoy without responsibilities is something most will only experiance then, and I totally took it for granted.

Watching this after seeing jackass forever and I really wish they gave us another end credits like jackass 3D. I feel like those credits gave us so much closure for the series and the guys. But seeing the ending of jackass forever made me feel feel so empty and sad because they ended it like it will still continue. Which it probably will with the new people which is poetic is some sort of way but I guess what I’m getting to is nothing will EVER make you feel as sad as the end credits of Jackass 3D

I'm 21 years old, and seeing all the jackass boys together like the old days with weezer just hits me with nostalgic emotion - and I'm sure most people in their 20s and 30s feel the same way. We grew up watching these guys; to me they were almost like your fun older cousins, or an old inseparable friend group. This song is pure happiness too--throughout all the trouble and drama the jackass crew has faced over the years, they're still having fun and loving eachother. My fave part of the video is at 2:23. It starts showing all babies and kids of the crew following in their footsteps. The old buddies have had an awesome and fun friendship and now they're watching as their kids continue the cycle. Beautiful.
