They keep doing this to my music and I makes me so made. How can a video be out for years then when I save it to my playlist is becomes unavailable forever. TH-cam is becoming as trashy as Facebook I mean trashbook

Yeah. Atleast show us which video got deleted/hidden. They should show title of the video.
TH-cam does this on purpose in certain context in my opinion. If the video can bring awareness to issues or exposed corruption TH-cam censors it

This is driving me crazy dude! From a user standpoint some newer plalists don't show the hidden videos anymore or a stupid smart tv I connected to my network and suddenly my youtube app on firestick started interrupting and asking if I'm watching the same way. I'm not sure if it's that there's a double in it. Now when I hit the "show unavailable videos" button it just changes it to "unavailable videos will be hidden during playback" but I don't want to delete them! I want to see the greyed out icon in it's context and also I can reverse lookup the link online. But now I can't (in older playlists i still can). Or sometimes the video is in limbo and then it comes back... every bit of advice is "delete the greyed out ones!" No! the truth is they just keep removing features because they have nothing to add. They lack creativity and then they want to charge you for a premium service, $15 a month . Yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They can cater to people who choose to be ignorant but I rather be like the dragon sleeping on a pile of treasure. Instead of cleaning up the code and keeping features, they want to make savvy users unable to do anything useful anymore. Alienate the users... So they have a reason to screw creators down the line...lol.
I need something that saves the titles and icons offline and syncs constantly. Who needs little holes in your memory. If I add a youtube video to my playlist, I don't care who made it or whose platform it is, I should be able to leave it where I left it and have it still there anytime I want to at least know what it was on the surface.... I'll bet you $500 there's at least a dozen "who unfriended me" extensions for browsers.
I just don't like the sneakiness of it... and nobody can object. It's like the "piracy is a crime" guys.... those commercials, but show me someone who doesn't want to download a couple of things for free. Especially if you already are an active consumer of entertainment or any type of media. If you buy records at the record store, you're still likely to stream an album on youtube at a higher rate than you would buy those albums... and you'll probably have apple music, so you can stream 30 albums a month. They don't raise the price because they already got paid. Platforms like youtube and facebook just sit around serving people the same thing they had from day one, and they cant charge while hassling them more every day like real goons. Way to be real interesting, they got my attention again... and then to have metallica cry at you because you're good at getting stupid stuff for free on the internet. I wanna see how maaaaany albums they spend their cash on.... just to turn around and kick down at a guy for downloading a track. Like every fan is just a stepping stone... like now you pay for more than you can consume, before it was heavy on the "you can't afford the gold line" so play with this instead. When in reality, everyones in that same boat... I remember an event where someone commited a crime and it was in the national headlines and his youtube was taken down and people had backed up everything.... you'd think they would be done with it.
I guess I'm ranting for nothing because I think it was just one playlist being weird, but it's still an uphill battle. Some times I go to watch one video and I feel like I don't even stand a chance against the algorithm as they barrage me with must-see things that I just stuff down into the bottom of a playlist!!!! Or the vanishing videos definitely kinda get me too.

My videos of my channel in albums is not available is hide what I gonna do?
I have a vidoe that does that at the moment. Problem is that not only does it say "Video unavailable This video is not available" but there are none of the buttons in bottom right corner, this includes the settings cogwheel button that you have to press to change quality. Any ideas anyone? PS I went to a video that does work and turned quality down to 360p but then went back to video that is not working and it still does not work.

unusable tips... unavailable videos are those that are deleted, or become private... and it is very stupid, that you can't see their names (for shure they exist in other playlists, but you can't find them, becouse you dont know their names and autors)
This is what annoys me the most, the fact that the names are unavailable as well. I've been searching for a song that got deleted and i can't remember the title or the artists... so frustrating

hi buddy i can watch other channels but not Formula 1 it says video unavailable has only started in the last month or so ive turned of all ad blockers refreshed browser updated chrome even when i m not on a vpn it still wont work ive tried everything hardware acceleration etc subscribed un subbed im realy annoyed but thats my problem not blaming anyone its just weird mate

I tried all these methods and none of them worked, then I tried a VPN and hey presto, changed the country, I could watch the video.
Great tips! However, I just wanted to respectively share a note. I'm really not trying to be offensive or anything, but the manner that you shared your advice seemed forced. At the very least it didn't feel like your natural speech patterns.
Rather, you sounded like a mix between a robot/A.I. and an "on scene journalist" reporting for the evening news. Just didn't seem natural.
Character is a wonderful thing because people, as individuals, are interesting!! You have a lovely accent and many people love that! So that's a small surface level strength that you have in addition to all of the great information that you've taken the time to research! That's a lot of work...so make that work for you.

this has nothing to do with software settings, youtube blocks some videos in some countries so to fix this just use a VPN and your problem will solve
