Almost forgot some very import computer shortcuts: CONTROL +Z - Undo previously typed work; CONTROL + C - copy highlighted work; CONTROL +V - past copied work. I use this to copy lengthy paragraphs into google translate, among other things. However, remember, if you have already "saved" your work and try to go back to "undo", it won't work.
The one I found most useful that wasn't mentioned here, as somebody who watched lots of anime was Ctrl + W . It closes the new tab that is usually a pop up ad, this way you don't need to move the mouse 7 million times between the play button and X. Just keep the mouse on the play and press if a new tab opens Ctrl + W. Saved me so many annoying seconds lol 😆

Yup! I tend to have the _opposite_ problem-too many tabs because clicking links opens a new tab. Not mentioned here is the power of keyboard shortcuts under the left hand and mousing with the right combined.
just the opposite. 6 pinned and 9 others open at the moment. when all are view then will be down to 6 + maybe one or two. Just have not had a bit of time to look at the non-pinned so far the past couple days. Most are related to digital imaging programs I use.

While watching the first trick I discovered a new trick so what happend was I was gonna press Ctrl + T but accidentally pressed Ctrl + R which led me to discover a new trick which was if you press Ctrl + R the page reloads.
I knew #1 but also if you hold the "control" key and click a link will open that link in a new tab. Holding "shift" will open a new browser window. Putting phones in Airplane mode should do the same. I never thought of that trick. Lesson learned. Thanks!
6:02 this might also happen after a short time. Windows always writes things on the hard disk, so a even after a few seconds there is a chance that the file was already overwritten.
A true trick would be to know, that if you cannot update your windows computer, it might be because there is too much stuff in its update cashe. So if you clean it out, which you can probably use windows cleaner for (I use CC cleaner), then you can update again. You need to clean one thing at a time, else it will not work.

Ctrl + Enter to change page in Word Shift + Enter for new line without making a paragraph. (Not leaving/ignoring the spacing between the two lines) Ctrl A to select the whole text.

No. 4 - downloading photos your way works for some people. For others (like myself) who need or want to "credit" the source later with dates, locations, etc., it is better to right click before saving. Important details should be added at the SAME TIME the image is saved for future reference. Just saying. Otherwise, ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO from BRIGHT SIDE.
Alt-F4 actually can do several different things - close a Window or close an App or logout - an overloading which annoys me when using Windows. I prefer using Command W to close a window but not risk quitting the App - and Command Q to quit the app without risking logging out.

some are OK, the open tab one you could just click on the + above the search bar. however one of my favorite ones i discovered several years ago is the print screen. press the windows keys hold it then quickly hit the "print scrn" Button. it will take a picture of your computer screen.

I learned a lot of keyboard tricks way earlier, I ran a computer that had win95 for a few months without a mouse. I had a better computer with windows 98 on it so I didn't use it as much. The shortcuts haven't changed in years.
One thing I was doing wrong was to crop a part of a picture on windows. I used to press print screen, paste on paint, crop, and save. The snipping tool does it all.
Who is on my wifi, hollup just check your router, you can even block people that are connected and its much more reliable. And also by seeing a ipv4 or mac address you don't really know who is on your wifi. (I am btw Dutch so sorry for my bad English) And I study IT at college so I know what I am talking about!

I've noticed that too. Because of that, I've not always been able to seen every file that's been deleted. Sigh.
Police forensics can bring back all deleted files surely, so they can't be totally lost

ctrl+t: new tab
ctrl+shift+t: reopen recently closed tab
ctrl+w: close tab
ctrl+shift+w: close window
ctrl + shift+ t : reopens last closed tab
I find this useful when my browser closes for some reason or I accidently closed a tab I didn't mean to.

Who is on my wifi, hollup just check your router, you can even block people that are connected and its much more reliable. And also by seeing a ipv4 or mac address you don't really know who is on your wifi. (I am btw Dutch so sorry for my bad English) And I study IT at college so I know what I am talking about!
Just put cameras up then you can see everything.
And I am also an IT guy too, but in the US.

It is possible when you can open and close tabs by pressing 'control' or 'alt'.

1. I will never use Control-T for a tab. I use Control-N. Doesn't anyone use alt-tab, duh? It doesn't work with tabs.

3. Yes, do currencies, measurement conversions, and language translations directly in Google.
4. Charge in airplane mode? Cheez. It charges FASTEST when it's OFF. Man.
5. Alt-click to save images in download folder? Utter nonsense. That's not a thing.

You can use Ctrl + Tab for switching browser tabs.
No need to creat a new window just to be able to Alt + Tab.
@@florinmizeranschi3492 But you can't go back and forth. You have to remember to go control tab and shift control tab to do that. Alt tab always gives you the next most recent window.
@@florinmizeranschi3492 You see, alt-tab allows you to flip back and forth between two windows EFFICIENTLY. Control tab does not achieve that, except for one SINGLE flip, unless the scenario is ideal.

This is interesting and most is useful. (Not quite sure how to Google for tech support help if my computer isn't working though...) But I was surprised not to see [ALT] - [PRT SCR]. That little gem has been on all versions since, at least WIN95. (I didn't know about this gem when I was using 3.1.)
