Visual Kei has always had in own unique look. Visual Kei bands like Versailles/Jupiter, Malice Mizer, Phantasmagoria, Femme Fatale and this band don't really look like Kpop bands.
MrStephen182 ikr this is exactly what i mean Jrock always been unique on it way but some Kpop fans still believe that Jrock is a copy of Kpop (and thanks God not all of them thinks so ) i don't know if it's due to the fact that they don't have much knowledge about JROCK origin and history or if it's a kind of hate idk i'm just tired of hearing ppl saying so about Jrockit really hurt especially when it comes to the GAZETTE they are LEGENDS and no one compare to them
but isn't modern kpop heavily influenced by jpop? The Japanese were the first in Asia to create pop IDOL groups if im mistaken, which is the backbone of modern kpop o.O

There seems to be an argument about kpop and jrock/visual kei.....but you can't compare them since they are so different and they are different genres.I do love bands such as BTS,BIGBANG,EXO,2ne1...etc but I would never compare them to the gazettE,BAND-MAID and Maximum The Hormone etc (also love all these aswell) like you wouldn't compare Little Mix to Slipknot and if you think about it that's what a lot of people are basically doing. They are all good in their own genres that's all
it all started in 2016 after people who only listend to Kpop and couldn't understand the difference to Japanese musik came to JPop-videos of E-girls, FAKY,... and started to be rude like: "Look at this! J-Pop was so shitty till like 2014 and now they are good, wich means they stolen the K-Pop-concept blah blah blah KPop is better, JPop is shit!" and this was soooooo rude...
