Natural Gas Pathways in Washington State

The 2021 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) and the State Building Code Council (SBCC) approved to limit using natural gas in new commercial and residential building construction effective July 1, 2023.
Cascade Natural Gas Corp's Ty Jennings, MCP, Building Code Specialist, will identify pathways for the code-compliant use of natural gas and the opportunities available through a series of flowcharts aimed at simplifying the paths available in the energy code.
