Thanks for the video!! I'm planning on going back to school next coming fall for I/O psychology and this helps in the type of jobs I could seek out later on. I wonder how it'll change in the next few years with all the unions happening 🤔

Hii Maria!! Thankyou for sharing this with us. I’m actually a first year student doing my BSC in Psychology and I just wanted to know apart from UK, do you happen to know if Australia and New Zealand has a good demand for IO psychologists? I plan to pursue a career in IO Psychology as well and I am contemplating choosing between Australia and NZ for my masters and to work and settle. If I’m not mistaken, NZ happens to emphasize the aspect of Clinical Psychology more than IO so if you happen to have any idea about the demand for IO in those 2 countries or perhaps else where, do let me know, it would help immensely!! I know you were an international student as well studying in UK so could you explain how to check if my course is accredited or not by the BPS?
Hi Meghna! Typically, if a course is accredited by the BPS that will show on the course’s web page 😊

I'm not sure if I'm eligible to apply for a bps accredited degree since I did my bachelor's in an Indian University. I heard we should directly speak with the British Psychology Society but I'm not sure how to go about it or proceed. If you know how, could you explain? It would help me a lot ❤️❤️
@@meghnalily2925 that’s correct! You have to contact the BPS and provide the necessary documents, so they can check if your course can be accredited. Try to reach them through e-mail or phone, they will help you 😊

Hello, i want to work in this field and when applying for internships they often ask what do you hope to gain from an internship in this field and generally im not sure what to say. What should i be looking for in an internship to help aid my resume in I/O psychology and im an undergrad.

Does industrial and Organizational psychology needs PhD ?? Or can I work as a Human resources as BA in psychology and MA in organisational psychology??
You can! I wokr in HR and I do not have a PhD. I have a BS in psychology and MS in Organizational psyhcology.

How many months does it take to get a job after doing masters in leeds? And can I do Phd in I/O in leeds?
There’s not a correct answer to this question, it will depend on several factors. I got my first job offer right after I finished my degree in Leeds, but that was my case, but that’s my example. I’m not sure if there’s a PhD in I/O Psychology in Leeds, but you can easily find that online :)

You can get a great role with a Master's degree in I/O. Many people take that route and have great careers.
Getting a PhD is not compulsory, that is really up to you and your preferences! I am working in I/O with a Master's Degree 😊

I have a doubt that ,ls io Psychologist become HR ? Because in most of the company they hire HR, who are eligible in Business Administration courses.
Don't underestimate the power of I/O! I work in HR, focusing on company culture and employee experience. It's important to demonstrate your value and network with I/O psychologists who have transitioned into HR, as well as with other HR professionals who can help open doors for you.
