Sony PlayStation Dreamscape Recall PSA (2004)

- In 2004, Sony and DF Entertainment, a company owned and operated by Daniel Fletcher, launched their collaborative console, the PlayStation Dreamscape, worldwide. A few months later, Sony investigated the company after the console was reported to have short circuited on numerous occasions, as well as attempt to or electrocute its players. Sony began investigating, and found out the truth: DF Entertainment had intentionally modified the console to short-circuit and electrocute players by sending electrical spark waves into the DualShock controller. Sony had immediately cut all ties with the company and Daniel Fletcher afterwards, and also got Daniel wanted by the FBI. At nearly the same time, an ad played nationwide across the US about a mandatory recall of all PlayStation Dreamscape units.
This is the only recording of this "Recall PSA" I could find.
NOTE: This is not real. The PlayStation Dreamscape is not a real console, it is a fictional console from the creepypasta of the same name, created by @PosiDoesMore . The creepyasta no longer exists unfortunately, but the main plot is that the writer went to his friend's house to play PS4, and on the way there he discovered a garage sale with the PlayStation Dreamscape in it. He went back to get it later, and he found out why he never heard of the console or DF Entertainment. They tried to kill players, and Sony found out and disbanded from them, and also got the company shut down.

@@TemRio The original site the creepypasta was on is now down and I cannot find any records of it that have been kept elsewhere. I think the pasta itself is lost and will take the work of actual full on web sleuths to find. I'm not equipped to find it.
The best I can do is prove that I wrote it with some old screenshots. My apologies. I wish I had kept a proper record.

I genuinely like this. . .
For one I never expected people to do found footage mockups based on the Burger King Pokemon recall PSA, and it's good to see that alas it's based on that and not some "Super Mario 64 is personalized" or "Anti Piracy" video. There's no jumpscares, flashing imagery, or anything downright scary to forcefully provoke fear, it's only the unsettling atmosphere of this video.

Also the Note Fan Edition is a collectors item for some reason to. Maybe bc people mixed it up with the Note 7. I saw the price on eBay. Crazy for a phone that never exploded

Not for me as it's not believable. Game controllers work on 5V DC, which isn't enough yo penetrate human skin, never mind kill.
From my knowledge, Daniel fletcher is the William afton of play stations. Heres why, with his animatronics he made them to kill children (its in the lore somewhere) but Daniel is using the dualshock to actually "shock" them. If this is actually intended then nice one buddy.😊

Very impressive, but I'd like to give one piece of advice.
Using phrases like "as we speak" makes it feel less like an official announcement. I'd advise finding less conversational sounding terms, "currently" for example.
Also, "serve you 15 years in prison" is a bit off, as a sentence.
I'd have used something like "possessing it can carry a sentence of up to 15 years in prison"

I'm pretending that Sony considered the PlayStation DreamScape 5 as UNAUTHORIZED, to which the PlayStation DreamScape 4 ceased production for the exact same reason, in 2024 (20 years after this aired [in which the PSDS 2, PSDS 3, PSDS Portable, and PSDS Vita all ceased production {in that order} would also be UNAUTHORIZED]). I'm also pretending that Smart TVs, the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch games, and Nintendo eShop actually did exist.
