I think the key to wear the fun shadows like Moira Diamond Daze liquid eyeshadows is to keep it low on the lid. It will age your eyes up higher. I’ll never give up the fun or the sparkle. ❤
I remember when we put on makeup to purposefully appear older. I believe no matter my age I feel best presenting myself however I want and makeup or no makeup 💄 as long as I am happy and satisfied doing it for myself I will wear whatever makeup I have the willpower to do that day. For me it’s when I wear no makeup at all I get told I look my youngest 😂😂😂 an I am 39, when I wear the “clean look” that seems to get the most compliments but if I go all out dark glam I get the compliments from the people I most want to impress ❤❤❤❤❤ so honestly if spider 🕷️👄🕷️ lashes make you happy just enjoy life 😊

Sometimes just working with your fingers cake make sure isn’t cakey. I always wash my hands before doing makeup. Sometimes I have used my fingers to apply foundations. The warm of my fingers help melt it into my skin. My grandmothers always used their fingers and they never looked cakey. I don’t always do it just once in awhile. I do always like to use my fingers for concealers. I feel I get a better result.

Shiseido has 2 sunscreens that work really well under makeup and Clarins has one with a tint and you can also put foundation on with it or wear it by its self.
I don't think I've ever looked good in glitter because I have hooded eyes that always creased and took my glitter off... but I'm really liking the subtle glitter of Danessa Myricks paint tubes because they have a pretty color shift, are waterproof, and no chunky glitter (I want a wet shiny look for summer). But come Christmas, I'll probably wear a glitter liner for fun (like Urban Decay). Only downside is that chunky glitter hurts when you try to remove it... 😢

I agree that some glitters and shimmers can be aging. You have to figure out which ones work best for you. On me, I find that Pat McGrath shimmers and astral shades look nice. But some of Natasha Denona's more frosty / foiled shimmers can make my eyes look crepey.

If your face is dry. Dont buff your foundation with a brush it will disturb your already dry skin under the foundation giving you a patchy finish. Instead press them in.

I do favor cool colors (greys, taupes, smoky grunge etc) so it’s not like electric blue or purple people eating … color has its time!! but the last tip rly got me thinking for when I use indie shadows (multi chromes etc extreme sparkle & glitz!) i am going to try to be putting it just in one little area. I can relate on the bronzer. I had to start buying the palest bronzers/brontour I could find & it’s rly helped my game. I switched to lighter texture fdtn & I will try the powder tip! I got those triangle sponges much cheaper on Tèmú. Your makeup looks so good! I like to line my waterline with nude (or white) gel eyeliner w/ a MAC 109 brush then go for a bit darker under w powder but I will try putting a brown under. Great tips. Thank you!!
I use the Falscara underneath but with clear band strip lashes, like the Salon Perfect 614. They don't come up on corners & stay on all day. I don't use the seal side, seems like it leaves a white cast on lashes. They stay on fine without it.
I found the powder makeup at QVC tried it today love it. Laura Geller. Lots of colors I got Fair . It’s a Baked Bronze. N Brighten . It’s so nice if you are in hot weather.
I don't see it too often, and when I do, I feel it ages in reverse, but not in a good way, is the extreme blush and highlighting of the nose. Especially when one has SO much on it looks like a shiny purple lightbulb!
I, so agree Marlena I’ve been doing a lot of videos and or just taking a selfie and let the gals know what and how I used my products and I did a video about heavily bake and fake or them sunless tanners I said to stop tanning so dark it ages one more-so and doesn’t hide them wrinkles and to use a finely milled setting powder it’ll help blur and I said to just go a few shades darker and buy a bronzer 1 or 2 shades darker and use it to frame your cheeks and on the jawline and forehead and use a gold honey tone high lighter for your t zone but lightly 😀🥰 love your channel

One thing I’d add about mascara is that I use lengthening rather than volumizing mascara now. It looks more flattering, imo. I’m a bit skittish about the false lashes, but I may try with your tips. I have semi dark circles and yes green, black or navy eye shadow will emphasize the under eye color and make it worse so I have to be careful of what eye shadows I use.

My most favorite loose powder tells my age. It is Coty Air Spun. It even smells good. And I use a water mister I get it from Sally’s. Cheap. And put plain water in it. I spray my face with plain tap water and let air dry while I am doing other things.

What about cool eyeshadows like the Stone Cold Fox Colourpop palette? I’m extremely pale with a cool undertone and I LOVE the palette. It was the first time I actually understood nudes and how to use them. I never wear eyeliner on my bottom lash line; just a luminous color on my waterline and a tiny smudge of slightly lighter eyeshadow than what’s on my lid. Dark shades on my bottom lash line are just too harsh. I recently got the new Milani liquid contour and it’s perfect (Honey is the shade name) because it’s cool toned but it’s still brown. It’s as neutral as you can get.
LOL I knew you were going to say the spider lashes/mascara but I am never giving it up! I love it, I always have!! LOL...I am going to try not put powder all over my face though, I am bad about this too but I just use it bc I don't want my makeup to smudge. I guess I'll try more setting spray and not so much powder, but spider lashes forever!!!
I have found for every day makeup brown mascara works better for me. Black seems to be too bold as I age and more for full glam days, which is not very often any more 😂. Can you do something for a one and done shadow look for mature eyes?

i find that certain colours look better with certain eye colours as im green/hazel if iwear certain colours my eyes look dull and heavy and other colours make my eyes stand out and i look wide awake x

Exfoliating with a BHA once or twice a week helps for cakey foundation as well!

Regarding eyeliner, I agree that sometimes black can be too harsh. I've found that grey liner is good for lining your eyes and looks more "natural".

I find that luminizing powders enhance the texture of the skin rather than blur it out. Kind of like shimmery eyeshadow on wrinkly eyelids.

I love Channel’s bronzer.
The Balm sells a bronzer that called not orange bronzer. Its neutral. Other bronzers make me look muddy or jaundice.

I’m in love with the Kiss Falscara lashes. They are the only false lashes I’ve been able to use. Game. Changer.

What about cool eyeshadows like the Stone Cold Fox Colourpop palette? I’m extremely pale with a cool undertone and I LOVE the palette. It was the first time I actually understood nudes and how to use them. I never wear eyeliner on my bottom lash line; just a luminous color on my waterline and a tiny smudge of slightly lighter eyeshadow than what’s on my lid. Dark shades on my bottom lash line are just too harsh. I recently got the new Milani liquid contour and it’s perfect (Honey is the shade name) because it’s cool toned but it’s still brown. It’s as neutral as you can get.
LOVE the CP Stone Cold Fox pallet and Millani liquid contour in honey! Both so good for drugstore.
LOL I knew you were going to say the spider lashes/mascara but I am never giving it up! I love it, I always have!! LOL...I am going to try not put powder all over my face though, I am bad about this too but I just use it bc I don't want my makeup to smudge. I guess I'll try more setting spray and not so much powder, but spider lashes forever!!!

Why would you need/want a bronzer if its getting covered by blush?
I have found for every day makeup brown mascara works better for me. Black seems to be too bold as I age and more for full glam days, which is not very often any more 😂. Can you do something for a one and done shadow look for mature eyes?

Please make a video series all about oily skin and the best products and application techniques to stop that shine all day. I’ve tried setting powders and they do not work for me, they settle in my pores.

i find that certain colours look better with certain eye colours as im green/hazel if iwear certain colours my eyes look dull and heavy and other colours make my eyes stand out and i look wide awake x
