I went to my chiropractor's office yesterday and used the spinal traction table where you hold on to the handle and they strap your legs in and the table slowly stretches and bends your spine. I highly recommend it
combine it with heat somehow, and you will feel like you went to heaven.

This is in a flexed position, though. Potentially this could exacerbate a bulged or herniated disc.
There is no pressure on disc, so most probably not exacerbate. But might not work for everyone.
